Should call it carbGa because everything on the menu is rice, noodles, or fried. If you’re looking for simmering healthy to eat with no/low carbs. This is not the place. I ordered seaweed salad for $8 and got roughly a tablespoon. Ugh…

2019 Expensive and no options for working class people. Needs more price variety. It was too expensive for me, but a friend and I were hungry, so we looked for the cheapest thing on the menu and split it.After we split the bill, and walked outside, a woman (manager?) followed and was angry with me:she wanted me to pay a higher tip.I had rounded up instead of using a calculator. It was surprising and upsetting. I had a good cry, and wished there were cheaper options. Healthy food could be accessible and affordable if businesses have more price variety. We got back to the Chapel Hill public library on our volunteer public service project: filming and researching the coal ash sites from the Chapel Hill Police station and Bolin Creek (it's toxic and contains heavy metals) dumped by UNC coal plant. (There's hardly any regulation and it's handled like dirt per NC law. Duke Energy monopoly and UNC produce this toxic ash).I haven't gone back since. Over the years, my family and I used to go when MinGa was in Durham. I preferred local businesses compared to national or international franchises. There's many people chronically ill from covid who could benefit from fresh, health, accessible, and affordable food options, which could better enable our political participation and contributions to society.

Average food. Pretty expensive for what you get. Would only come here if I’m craving Korean food so bad that it’s my only choice.

Ordered Kalbi and Kimchi Jjigae. While it may never reach the same level as the Korean restaurants in NYC or LA, it definitely satisfied my Korean food craving more than sufficiently. Great range of options and I will be returning to try everything on the menu! So grateful this restaurant exists in chapel hill!!!!

A Korean gem in the heart of Chapel Hill. I love their stone pot bibimbap the best, but their stews are great, too. Main dish always comes with little “banchan” (side dishes).Vegetarian options: Korean food is heavy on veggies, so it’s great for plant lovers. Just skip the meat and ask for egg and/or tofu for protein.

The servers were kind, welcoming, and attentive. I had the green Matcha tea with boba which was light on taste. The dukboki sauce was watery in consistency. At that point, I should have asked for the check. However, I wanted to give it a chance, so I ordered the Tonkatsu. The plate was gorgeous and well presented. The sauce provided to pour on top was very tasty and gave the fried pork flavor. The water was GREAT! Overall, I appreciate the service and kindness felt from the staff.
