love love loved karaoke night ! great staff ! very friendly and welcoming. slightly older than undergrad crowd, more grad student age+ vibe ! (at least when i went)
Still requiring masks and vaccine credentials. A place for people who don't know how to enjoy themselves to congregate.

There's definitely a dive bar feel to this place. They're very welcoming and the staff is great. Best venue in town for experimental music, house, and whatever else is bumping in town. Awesome outdoor space.
*really good place to take friends who are visiting* Nightlight is perhaps THE best place to have a good time in Chapel Hill after 9 PM. With an incredible assortment of acts, and an utterly inclusive atmosphere, Nightlight has something to please just about anyone.
