Huge bar, huge patio. Fun place to hang out.

The only place on Franklin Street that doesn't have weeknight drink specials. But, realistically speaking, that doesn't hurt their business because underaged and super-rich frat boys will ALWAYS pay for drinks, regardless of their price.Edited for Vulgarity

It's disheartening to witness this restaurant rejecting black people from their establishment after 8pm. 3 black women decided to visit after work but was told they can't come in because of the strict dress code. They were told no white shirts.

Would be nice if black people were allowed here. Y'all let us colored folks know how the vibe is.

Good late night stop (after 10pm) for a cold beer or a drink, especially on a Monday when most spots close earlier. Didn't have any food but they serve a full menu just in case you're hungry.

This review is overdue! Always on our list when we visit the area. Solid line up of draft beer + full cocktail bar with plenty of outdoor seating on their patio, some of it is covered. Yes, it is a college bar but there are plenty of adults who enjoy the space as well.

Lucked out and stopped bye on finals, not the usual packed house. Good food and kolsch beer and great deck - I'm ?
As a guest at the hotel across the street the past 2 nights being kept awake until after 2am (i get Fri and Sat nights although still irritating) from the live music and again tonight (currently base rattling my room) Im not a fan, Bob. It woke my 7 year old up, I have yet to go to sleep and have a 3am wake up call to get to the airport so we can fly home and work all day (nurse). I have nothing nice to say. The hotel has been apologetic and giving my mom points back since she booked the room but their hands are tied. This situation is the only negative I have being in Chapel Hill the past 72 hours for graduation celebrations. Short straw on the hotel room…???

I went in for a drink with friends. Bartender was outright rude to me. He had circular glasses and I had not seen him working there before. I always treat the bartenders with respect. This experience made me never want to go again.

It’s rather tough to get in if you are not a stellar looking lad. On the other hand, if you are a decent looking female above the age of 12 and hand them a piece of cardboard with a $20 bill on the back of it, you will have no problem. Watch your drinks as well, lots of horror stories here.

I can guarantee a great time. It's a college crowd. Service is going to be on point. The best selection is always what you expect. Oh and it will be be cold!!!

Great place... but watch out for bartender Mark.. he will steal your girl in a heartbeat
