Such a cute coffee shop on Franklin Street! There's a lot of space inside to do work or chat with friends. I got a lavender iced latte, which I thought tasted great. It's also the same price for any size drink! The barista was also very nice and helped me pick out coffee beans.

Came across this adorable spot when exploring Franklin Street. Baristas were sweet and helped me choose what to order. I always like to choose the most popular drink if I can. Perfect place for a coffee date or to even do some studying (I felt so old being around plenty of college students). I ordered the Maple Spice cappuccino and a slice of banana bread. Just the perfect amount of sweetness, for both of them. Definitely a great spot if you need a caffeine boost!

I ordered a lavender scented cappuccino (new for us that come from Italy) which was delicious and satisfying. It was creamy and frothy, with a perfect balance of coffee, milk, and lavender. It was really delicious, even though it was almost two years ago, we still talk about it, when we in Italy talk about our time in Chapel Hill. Unique!
Solid iced maple latte! The space is definitely too open & empty. Feels like everyone is watching you as you walk through the front door.

Perennial has a special place in my heart, I went on an amazing first date here. I continuously go back whenever I am in town. Their coffee is great and so is the staff. I even saw one of the staff members reading the same obscure book as me, and we got to have a chat about it which I found really nice. There even was a documentary recommendation for me during that chat. The space itself is amazing, a cool (by cool I'm mean AC) space on the inside that is perfect to sit at and work on your computer or read a book. When the weather is nice there is plenty of out door seating along the side of the building or picnic tables in the back. Being located on Franklin Street, they are a prime spot to stop for a well brewed coffee or a well pulled espresso shot. Perennial is my top pick if you're looking for one of the best coffee shops in Chapel Hill

I got a pour over on Friday, it was 6$ and filled 3/4ths of the cup. It was very delicious, but not enough coffee for the price. Also a really not good thing was that I found a chunk of someone's finger nail (the barista'sI'm assuming) in my coffee. Coffee itself was great, the cost for what I got and the fingernail, not so much. I get that things happen though so I recommend that they just make their prices more reasonable or give a full product.

I liked this place! There wasn’t a ton of seating, but the Cappuchino I had was great:)
