The best thing was the desert and we even had to initially send it back. The appetizer balls we had tasted like plastic and had an aftertaste. The calamari was good but salty. Our pizza entree were mediocre. Service was pretty good and they did try to accommodate though our experience overall was very underwhelming.

This is a hidden gem in Chapel Hill. It's also a must go to. I went with 5 ladies on Memorial Day weekend. The service was impeccable from the hostess to the bartender to the waitress. The beers on tap were extensive. The red wine flight was fabulous and I was hesitant since I had recently returned from Spain which had out of this world wine. The give you foccacia with dipping oil at the bar.I can't say enough about our waitress.The food was spot on. I couldn't believe the portions were so huge given the reasonable prices. The pasta was homemade.The Caesar salad (choice for no upcharge with your meal) delicious and robust.I don't even eat pasta but it said homemade so I got the short rib ragu. Holy moly...I can't wait to go to CH again for this restaurant (and there are a lot of delicious ones there).My friends got the shrimp pesto and lasanga which they loved.The honey ricotta was great.We were stuffed but had to test the desserts. It's a must!!!!Cannoli and tiramisu- I was bursting at the seems but they were divine. 2 desserts to share among 5 ladies was plenty that's how big they were.The restaurant is on Franklim but not downtown. Right across the street from the Sienna and very close to Sheraton.Enjoy your time there.

I’d really like to give a higher rating because the service is great but unfortunately the food isn’t the best anymore. When they first opened it was AMAZING but the quality has definitely gone down over the last few months. I have been here many times and the past few times I was hoping it was a one off but it hasn’t been. Went again tonight and it still wasn’t great unfortunately. I will say though service is wonderful. I had a dish that wasn’t what I was expecting it to turn out like and they immediately switched it out for something else, no questions asked.

Amazing experience! Would 100% recommend. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, our server Max was super attentive and funny- along with the rest of the staff, and ambiance was very relaxing. It was our first time trying this place out, but we will be coming back for sure.

Excellent service and delicious Italian cuisine the best date night spot in Chapel Hill for an extremely reasonable price. Our server Max was amazing! If you are a student come on a weekday and get the student discount on select dishes!
