Food was mid at best and is absolutely a take out spot. Inside needs a total renovation. Uncomfortable booths, sticky tables, poor lighting. Server was attentive at least. I changed my order to carry out it was so uncomfortable.

First time and we loved everything. Best Indian experience in the area. We had mango lassi, Thai iced tea (different in a good way), saag paneer, veggie momos (wow!), aaloo gobi (veggie and delicious blend of flavors. The complementary lentil (?) crackers and chutney were appreciated. I look forward to going back with friends. Very good service too.

Surprise surprise! Didn't expect much, but good food for very reasonable prices. It's really Indian with a splash of Asian. So we went 3 times in the last couple of months, and I took Indian once and Singapore noodles twice. Both choices were great. Wish they has more Asian, but still good food.BTW, I understand it is fairly new management, so now a good time to try again and to show support for this shouldn't-be-forgotten place.

Ideal before or after a movie at the Chelsea! We had wonderful dishes at this restaurant every time we eat there, lunch or dinner. They are flavorful freshly prepared from fresh ingredients and more complex and delicious than in some other pricier restaurants. They offer Chinese and Indian dishes, both expertly done (As the French say 'comme il faut' (as they should be). The service is friendly and accommodating. The decor is relatively unassuming but pleasant and comfortable, the lighting just right. This restaurant easily gets overlooked in its mall location.

New ownership is great ! Wonderful food, tasty, fresh and consistent. One of my favorite restaurants

The Indian food is good, but the Japanese food is even better. I wish they sold more authentic Japanese food, because what they have is great. The tonkatsu ramen is to die for.

Great food. Not generic Indian flavors. Actually flavorful dishes. Really enjoyed our experience. Staff is very helpful. There was a mixup with our order (due to our own fault). The staff immediately corrected it without charging us extra. We ordered the thali and madras chicken both of which were delicious. We look forward to going back and trying other items from the menu.

I got the lamb curry lunch special takeout from here, and it was DELICIOUS! For under $15, I got a curry (small portion size and was able to specify spice level), a veggie soup, fried veggie appetizer, naan, rice, pickled onions, and gulab jamun. Every single thing tasted amazing, but I would say there was a disproportionate rice/naan to curry ratio (a lot of grains, not enough curry). The naan was so fluffy! For the price and convenience, I highly recommend checking out Rasa for a flavorful and value meal!

Very polite service. The food was great!!! I had the vegetable curry and my man had tandoori chicken. We had garlic naan bread with an amazing sauce! I even had to ask for some of the sauce to go, I believe it was a tika marsala sauce. Will be coming back to try different items.

Everything we have tried has been very good to exceptional. The vegetable momo, aloo gabi, and saag paneer are all the best examples of those dishes. Reasonable prices, friendly service. The food is very flavorful, lots of fresh ginger and spices. We have only eaten the vegetarian items so I can't comment on the animal proteins or seafood. You can substitute the excellent paneer or tofu for meat. Highly recommended.
