We ate there after a doctor appointment. I really wanted Chinese food. What a fantastic surprise to find this wonderful little res!the food was freshly prepared to order, hot and delicious! Service was excellent. According to the owner it been there for 17 years! If you haven’t been you need to go! We live about 30 miles away but when we go back to The doctor in Chapel Hillwe will definitely visit again!

Went to red Lotus to pick up Chinese food from my mom. I spent a fair amount of money on four dishes, all of which, with the were mediocre- In particular, the beef eggroll was completely disappointing as it was overdone and tasteless. The cashew chicken had five cashews, and chicken was over cooked. The soup was full of salt. I do think that they need to step up their game in order for people to give better reviews.

The best Chinese food in town! I seriously love this place. Their general tso's tofu is to die for.Vegetarian options: They will substitute any meat for tofu.

Bone shards in the food, on pourpose. This place used to be really good. Now its just another chinese place with well designed menus. I got chestnut chicken and not only did it look like a gore bag, it had CRUSHED BONES in it. It seems this was on pourpose as some of the cuts (on the bones) were done with a knife or something. It tasted ok but still not worth the price. Please stop putting bone shards in your food, incase you don't know they can shred your intestines.

Very disappointing. Not worth what they charge. I was most disappointed in the friend chicken wings. They weren't even full wings. I do not recommend this place.

ordered lunch-never seen such small portions!! For $12.50??The wonton soup was teeny tiny, and tasted awful. The rice was dried out, I'm going to have to go out again for take out lunch!! Do not go to this place!

We went on a Sunday afternoon at noon (when it opens). We were able to seat ourselves, we were promptly served, and the food was delicious!Vegetarian options: I had the tofu with black bean sauce. It was tasty and had the right amount of spice!

Every dish is wonderful - a perfect ending is Sesame Balls! Crunchy and sweet taste. The Velvet Chicken soup is second to none. Our favorite go-to for Asian food.

This has been our family’s go-to Chinese restaurant for a while now, although I have noticed the value slipping a little lately. My “honey walnut shrimp” came with seven shrimp and the container was mostly full with broccoli and mushrooms. Call it what it is; if I order shrimp I expect shrimp. If I knew it would be 90% broccoli and mushrooms I would have ordered something different. Also their beef quality has recently gotten very poor. About half of the beef is inedible due to being too tough and sinewy. When we first started ordering here the beef was much higher quality. The prices of the food, however, have remained unchanged.

I have ordered take out a few times and find the food here to be delicious and authentic. I really appreciate how the flavors blend together and just taste like they are made at home.

This place is just for the college kids, it is to be good, father and son run spot but know they are always hiring and can’t keep staffThat as lead to a down slide it product and service just go to juju in Durham for real
