I’m not one to post buuuuut, absolutely the best!! My only must hit restaurant while I’m visiting family!! Lobster and oysters are always divine. The veggies and mashed potatoes are perfect as well! Service never disappoints :) Thanks yall!!
After going to Squids for some 30 years and always enjoying the food and ambience, I sad to say this is our last time eating there. They used to have “Oyster in the shell” Happy Hour every day of the week. Now only Sunday through Thursday. But, that’s not why we will never eat there again , the food was mediocre. The oysters great, but that was it. The Caesar salad was tasteless. The entree was watery and the veggies way over cooked. The hush puppies were delivered cold...
Squid’s is a busy local institution!. Sat at the bar last night, graciously invited by a friend for Happy Hour for the special priced oysters which she enjoyed. My cocktail, The Hugo, was delicious. My dozen steamed clams: 9 were unpleasantly crunchy with sand. It’s not my favourite seafood place.
