The Casual Pint of Chapel Hill

If you like beer you’ll most likely enjoy this place. Friendly staff and lots of beer choices. For non beer folks there are lots of canned drinks in a cooler.

I’ve been here four times now and the staff is great but the food is totally underwhelming and not worth ordering.

Enjoyed our visit to the Casual Pint. I especially like that a significant amount of the beers are NC breweries and everything is organized by beer types.

This place is awesome!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Also the draft selection is incredible! The food was delicious - especially the chicken wings. I am not from North Carolina, so getting to watch my home team (Go Lions) was fun! Definitely recommending this place to anyone who visits!

Incredible service! While we were there, not only did they provide us with options when we were trying out beers, we also we blessed by their great hospitality when we spilled a drink. Not only did they help us clean it up, they got another new beer for us too! This will definitely be a go-to for us in the Chapel Hill area! Take time to come over, play a game or two, and get a good snack!

Really good beers, but horrible staff! The moment we came in, the owner came out from behind the bar and started following us around the place (weirdo). We paid $11 for a beer and tipped because people gotta eat. In and out in 5 mins.

We started drinking the single beer on their patio during business hours, then the owner runs outside and starts literally yelling at us saying it's illegal for us to drink it in their fenced in patio while talking about calling the police and takes the practically full beer out of our hands as we are drinking it without giving us a refund!

Why even have a large patio space if you can't drink on it? Other review pictures showed other people drinking on the patio so we thought it was okay. Despite being followed around, we still had a pretty decent experience up until being accosted which just ruined the whole thing.

It was really dumbfounding to see her blast through the doors and rip the beer out of hand while lecturing us why it is illegal for us to drink at a bar. Like isn't this the whole point of your establishment?

It just feels like they took money from us, told us to get out, and we got nothing. Definitely I recommend avoiding this place if you can and finding a better bar. Literally any other bar

The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and my partner. She treated our being there as though it was already an inconvenience as soon as we walked in the door. Maybe we were the wrong “crowd” she envisioned for her premise. She instructed us that we could only get drinks to go and we decided to drink them outside, because it was still during business hours. While we acknowledged and apologized for not understanding her (in drinking them outside) and were getting ready to go, she takes the drink abruptly and insists that she made it abundantly clear in such a rude tone.

We were nothing but considerate and polite. Very respectful. And she was not. She was nothing of the sort. For her to be the owner is awful because it implies she trains her staff to be this rude and mean and just short with new customers. We came in 30min to close. Not 3. And yet she acted like we were the sole source of her awful day. If you are only in service to take your grievances out on others, please close down. No one wants to pay you money just to be rude to them. And also please find some other outlet for your aggression. Never coming back.

Excellent choices of beer on Tap and bottle/cans. Super friendly staff. Nice atmosphere for socializing and viewing sports. Plenty of outdoor tables too.

Great service, unique take on bar food offerings, extensive selection of craft beers, and TVs with sound!

Nice beer selection, including local and national craft beers. We also got pretzels with beer cheese, which were really tasty.

Very friendly place for a Friday beer after work.
