10 STARS!! We had the most authentic and delicious meal at The Latin Effect on Franklin Street. I had arepos and my husband had chalupas - both so tasty and so different from standard tacos and nachos (also on their menu!). Generous portions and delicious sauces plus fresh hot chips and homemade salsa, and pickled coleslaw with a real bite to it rounded out the meal for a great value. Our server was so helpful in guiding our choices - plus made a fantastic caipereña!...
Ordered pickup and it was super fast (<15 minutes) and incredibly tasty. The chicken arepas were awesome. Had been wanting to go here since it opened and will be coming back often!!
My family (myself, my husband, our 3 year old and 4 month old) tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and we absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was great, loved the music and the food was AMAZING. I would also say that it's family friendly. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to everyone.
