The Pig has got delicious cheese fries, and the small size is enough for two. I often have a taco or two for lunch, they offer several varieties. Each of them are delicious. If they have banana pudding on the menu grab it because it sells out really quick

Very inconsistent quality of food I have noticed. The food is really good when it tastes fresh but it seems like thats only about half the time that I order. the mac and cheese especially is so good when fresh but tonight it tastes like we are reheating leftovers.

Tried the pulled pork platter. Got additional brisket and a side of fried okra. Everything was good but not exceptional. The hush puppies and coleslaw were very unique and were my favorite parts of the meal.
The pulled pork was tender and moist and went very well with the vinegar bbq sauce, however, the brisket was not good. Perhaps just a bad day. The fried okra was prepared well but had some sort of spice dusting added that I did not care for.

Yummy locavore BBQ joint. Interesting rotating specials and mixed drinks.
The hush puppies are good! I had the beef brisket platter with yellow coleslaw, and potato salad. It’s self-serve and they interesting items on the menu.
They have Louisiana, Texas and Vietnamese-inspired items.

First time here and first time trying “North Carolina” bbq. I had the pulled pork, hush puppies, and fried okra. The pork was excellent and definitely a different flavor than KC or Memphis style bbq. It was a bit tangier, which I liked. I did try the bbq sauce, found found that the pork was tender and flavorful enough I didn’t need the extra sauce. The hushpuppies . . . I’ve never seen them like this (I’m used to the round ones), but these ones tasted better than others I’ve had. I also really enjoyed the fried okra (the okra wasn’t mushy; I could still tell it was okra). The mound of sliced pickles they give you is also unique. They’ve got a dill flavor, but with some added sweetness that I didn’t hate. Would definitely go back and try some of their other options.

Every bite of it was good. The bbq sandwich was tangy, the hush puppies were thin and crispy, and the mac and cheese was hot and flavorful. This was the sandwich and two sides— each of the sides were big enough to share.
