Eat 24/7. Chapel Hill staple here. Late night and nothing's open. This is the place. Hangover breakfast all day. This is the place. Try it out!! Great deserts too.

I stopped by Time Out for a quick bite, but this visit was extremely disappointing. From the moment I walked in, no one greeted me not even a simple âhelloâ which was already strike one.
When I went to order a chicken biscuit with egg, the employee grabbed a piece of chicken straight from the food line, which looked like it had been sitting there for hours. The food didnât look fresh at all. To make matters worse, he handled my food, WITHOUT WEARING GLOVES!!! Completely unacceptable for any establishment serving the public. As someone who works as a supervisor in a hospital food service, I know how important proper food safety and customer service are. If I can ensure patients, families, and staff receive quality, fresh meals every day, I expect the same basic standards from a restaurant. Unfortunately, Time Out fell far below that mark. I wonât be returning anytime soon, and I hope management takes sanitation and service more seriously going forward.
Great food and service

Everything was wonderful!
The pulled pork didn't even need any extra sauce. It was seasoned perfectly!

Waste of time and money! Went in as a family, hoping to enjoy some yummy food for a reasonable price. Awful food, even worse people behind the counter. Super rude, but I could've gotten over that if the food was decent. It was terrible, seriously the worst food I've had from an establishment in a long time. Bojangles would've been 1000x better! The biscuit and excuse for chicken was laughable, they had been sitting for a minimum of 12 hours, I'm sure. I was excited to try this place but will definitely not bother trying again!

Made an order online at 8 am for pickup at 8:45. They cancelled order via email at 8:30. Now no food for tailgate. They couldnât handle 12 item order on a 12 pm game day. They were telling customers in long line that it was a 15 minute wait for chicken. Disappointing for a game day and staple place for food over all these years.

Never been to a restaurant before that literally microwaved the meal in front of me, didnât offer any sauces, and the employee didnât tell me that drink is free in the combo (technically cheaper)
If you're looking for a place to eat that hits all the nostalgia buttons and has a long history of being a gem among eateries, Time Out is it. The Chicken & Cheddar Biscuit was absolutely phenomenal. The chicken breast they used was massive and definitely a meal in itself. My wife got the regular fried chicken plate and again, the chicken was great. Whenever I come back to Chapel Hill, I'll be stopping here again for sure!

Came here to eat inside ordered my food even gave them a tip which Iâm not even sure why cause itâs not like they wait on you other than handing you your food that they are getting paid for and they wouldnât even do a refill. They try to charge me for a refill on my drink that was mostly ice to begin with when I was getting ready to leave. I will never be back here again Plus there was bones in my husbands pulled chicken and my chicken breast was skimpy and the wing was chewy.
