Ordered the 3 wing dinner with Mac and cheese.. fried chicken was delicious… macaroni and cheese and cinnamon bun left a lot to be desired. Had it ready for my delivery driver in less than 10 minutes.

Ordered chicken dinner from postmates and there was no chicken in my container. Poor management.

They did a great job getting my catering order together. My staff really appreciated it. They also were very courteous and helped me load the food into my truck.

The worst experience ever!
The chicken sandwich was dry as hell, the biscuit was old even into pieces and the chicken was even not cooked. The pudding was very hard and dry and couldn't be even touched so in short buying from here is like you throwing your money in trash.
Just waste of my money and time so never again!!!

Good Lord, the corn bread. The best corn bread I have ever, ever had. I bought extra to take home, and as we were walking in to an event at UNC, the bag check asked if we had food, and I can honestly say if they’d denied entry because of it I would have walked it the half mile to our car.

It’s been in business since 1978 serving 24/7/365 feeding Chapel hill with southern soul food feed many from all walks of life from the blue collar man who needs a hearty breakfast to get fuel for the day of hard work, college Kid getting a quick fix after a day of Pounding the books, a group of line cooks picking up some grub after a night of rush hour in the Kitchen
Or to the party-goers after a night of revelry and debauchery, waking up from a heavy bender feeling a bit hungover, the pick a nice plate of fried chicken cooked to crisp with some delectable choice of sides from collard greens, Mac’n’cheese, potato salad, baked beans, you pick a choice of having a biscuit or cornbread for plate

I ordered the pulled pork plate with mac&cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was delicious! As someone who grew up near KCMO, BBQ is life! Their pulled pork is very tender and flavorful. They're also not stingy with the portions. I could make 3, fat sandwiches with the pork and could only eat half of the potatoes and macaroni. The corn bread is soft, moist and sweet. Perfect. I'll definitely be back.

Maybe it was the me I’d day timing, but not good. The biscuit was good, but the chicken on our MVF sandwich was exactly what it looked like - a piece of chicken cut off a piece of fried chicken that I assume had been sitting for quite a while. Dry, dry, dry!!! The Mac & cheese was ok, nothing great. The chicken and dumplings were disappointing. The chicken in it was good but the dumplings were basically mushy noodles, not much taste. The basketball/ UNC vibe was cool and the photos were neat, but not enough I would go back.

The food has a review of a three because the country ham biscuit was good, but I would have preferred to gave it a two because I received also a pecan pie. The pecan pie was not sweet and it was just too spicy for me. I’ve never had a nonsweet pecan pie before in my life, if it was sweet, then I would have this whole review a five. I now have to throw away A pie that cost me $3.99 and as you can see, I only took 2 1/2 bites out of this. I struggled to do that because I did not want to waste my money.

The best fried chicken and collard greens I’ve ever had at any restaurant! The cornbread and potato salad were also delicious and I usually don’t even like potato salad. Excellent service on top of excellent food and excellent prices makes this place a must try!
