I went here on a Friday night and was able to be seated immediately for 4 on the balcony with a great view of Franklin Street. The waitress was very attentive and friendly and we were able to our food and drinks with no difficulty. The Buttermilk fried chicken, and TOP burger were both good, although the Jambalaya, and Braised beef didn't meet the expectations, as well as the drinks. Other than that the service was great and the appetizers were very good. This is a good option for a family night, or a friends out if you're looking for somewhere with pretty good food and atmosphere. Also if you call early enough you can have a reservation in place, we went during a non-conference basketball game, and an away football game so the crowd was smaller as well so it may be much busier during home conference games.

would love to keep coming here to eat but the parking situation not ideal and now they have predator towing people are literally getting towed constantly that come to visit with us when we go to franklin street this not the way to keep customers loyal franklin street goer i hope this gets solved

I've come here pre Covid several times and the food was always very good. I want to start by giving a huge shoutout to our waiter John. 1000 w smile, friendly, attentionate, sweet and very informative. I ordered the wild mushroom shrimp grit cake entree. I was expecting wild mushroom only had a few slivers of those. The grit cake was very thick and oily. The drinks were good though. The view is great and service is wonderful. Go for the drinks and go eat elsewhere

3 stars for the burger I had. Yes it provided me the nutriente and sustenance I required however it in the most bland and minimal way. Instead of my lunch being a moment of excitement and delight for my day, it hardly differentiated from the monotony of every other hour in the day. The meat to bun ratio was disrespectful and the sauce was severely lacking. The patty itself had clearly not been nurtured and there remained no more zest of life that I wish to taste as I bite in to my sandwich.

Very informative and pleasant experience with the distillery, and super excited that it's organic and local. We decided to stop here on our road trip through town and were not disappointed. Tasted the vodka and were happy with it so we decided to purchase a variety of spirits to bring home.
A classic chapel hill staple. Fun for a night out. They do have good food, a little overpriced for the quality in my opinion. Ambiance is great. Gets extremely crowded late night and on game days. Very fun and lively atmosphere. There's a separate bar downstairs that is more chilled out and relaxed, called Back Bar, which is my personal favorite out of the two.

I haven’t have the pleasure of visiting them in person, but I have finished a bottle of their vodka and it was great! Always happy to support local businesses, and my “Topo” appreciation/quarantine project kind of turned into a NC appreciation bottle considering I incorporated colors for the Panthers/UNC/Duke... anyways, thanks for the inspiration and the alcohol to get through these past few weeks

Took my boyfriend for a tour for Valentine’s Day, it was awesome! Esteban was a great tour guide. He knew exactly what he was talking about and made it a fun experience! Will definitely recommend to anyone. Coming back next time my family is in town.
