The food is good but the service is unsatisfactory. We waited for more than 45 minutes for our food even though there were only 3 occupied tables in the restaurant as they were more focused on serving pick up orders.

I had ordered their fried tofu starter, a medium massaman curry with tofu and their Thai Tea. I liked their tea as it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and it had a nice flavor to it. Their massaman curry was very good and everything in it was well cooked. The service was a little slower as it took 15-20 min to get our check and the restaurant did not seem crowded. Our waitress was very friendly. I would come back again.Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options on all spots on the menu, and you could add veggies or tofu without an additional charge for most items. The food was good and I would recommend to vegetarians.

New Thai girl who just started working here treating delivery drivers as potential thieves by asking to see phone and demanding to hit picked up on the app which is never done before.Forgetting something here? We are not your employees nor we have to do anything you demand as to do.

Best Thai restaurant in the triangle!!!I’ve been going to Twisted noodle for over a year and have never been disappointed. The food is divine and their Thai tea always hits the spot. The staff is always polite, attentive, and friendly. The ambiance is also very pleasant.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the triangle. The twisted yellow curry noodles are a unique stand out and the drunken noodles are excellent!Vegetarian options: Proteins are generally all chosen so they don’t inherently have animal protein in the dishes.

Both the Chapel Hill and the Durham sites are very good. The menus are similar. The main difference is that the Chapel Hill location is newer and looks "nicer" but the Durham one has it's own special ambiance of comfort. They both have killer stir fry dishes. They both have take out and do a very busy lunch hour. They both have relatively small square footage yet the menus have a good variety of food. The service is consistently very good. Prices are very reasonable. It is a go to spot when time is a factor in choosing a place to eat midday.

Let's start by the positives: nice atmosphere and great service. What let it down was the food. We ordered the batter-fried pork gyoza dumplings. Definitely a different way to cook dumplings but it was not better than regular pan fried dumplings. I think perhaps just deep frying the dumplings would be better than battering it up. I ordered the twisted general chicken. I went for a safer choice since I was not feeling adventurous. It was not what I expected (general tso's). What threw me off was the overwhelming taste of vinegar. Maybe the chef was a bit too heavy handed. I would rate the food a 3/5. Definitely not good but certainly not the worst.

I've eaten here several times, and it's been hit and miss. When the staff are on their game, it's always a great experience. When they are not, it's puzzling. Was there Wednesday evening and ordered their version of General Tso. Chicken was overcooked, cold, and lacked and flavor whatsoever. Rice was cold and tasted bad. Sent food back. My guest's food was hit and from all their reactions very good. I will go back, but will avoid the General Tso and question if the kitchen staff can consistently produce decent food. Quick word of support for the front house staff. Very attentive and apologetic for the poor food. Not their fault, but kitchen staff needs to work on food quality and consistency.
