I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! If you’re sick or just having a bad day, there is genuinely no better pick-me-up in chapel hill. I’ve ordered from here 3 times so far & they’ve never disappointed. My favorite is the pork belly noodle soup, but I’ve also gotten the braised beef noodle soup as well as the beef broth with celery & scallion (excellent for a sore throat!). The braised beef noodle soup was a bit too spicy for me, but our server never stopped filling up my water...

My wife and I came to town to go to a UNC game and came to Franklin St. early to shop and eat. We chose Wheat Express and it was so good! Our waitress was friendly and when we realized we did not plan our timing right, and asked if we could take it to go instead since we were going to the game, the staff quickly got our meal boxed up and ready to go! It’s on my recommendations and a place we’ll come back to!

I used to get friendly and organized service from the female staff, but today the male server seemed stiff and confused. He didn’t check who the dishes were for, and the tables and chairs were dirty. The whole experience wasn’t as good as before.
