The food was very delicious, and the waiter was very nice, and very attentive, I didn't know that they treated Disabled veterans foul. Iwas having my birthday dinner there and everything was going good except the Mater D, she would not let us be seated until all of the people in our party were present, but we watched 3 other tables with one person at it and they were waiting on other people to come and they seated them and allowed the rest of their people in their party be seated later and not have to wait to get seating. So not right. I have never had that problem at the one in Cornelius. I felt disrespect and discrimination in this restaurant. I will not be visiting this establishment again if this is how you treat Disabled Veterans

Had dinner at 131 MAIN-Southfork based on a friend’s recommendation. And we are so glad we did. The ambiance was very relaxing with the jazz music playing softly. Our servers (counted 4) were so attentive, polite, having a sense of humor, and were extremely helpful. Our food was delicious. We started with the recommended cast iron cornbread. And it was better than what we expected. My husband and I jokingly call it our undercover dessert because it has a sweet taste, especially with a drizzle of honey. I had the shrimp and grits. I want to say thank you for peeling the whole shrimp. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his wedged salad and blackened chicken pasta. Our adult beverages were good. For me, I will definitely ask for the sugar for my margarita next time rather than having the salt (personal preference). Ended our evening with casual conversation around the fire pit. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the Charlotte area. Thanks again for a positive dining experience in Queen City ??️??❤️.

We went to 131 Main for my wife’s birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was great, and our server, Teresa, was amazing! She was super friendly and made sure everything was perfect for us. The food was delicious! everything tasted fresh and was cooked just right.

I felt like I was in an episode of The Bear but the parts where everything runs smoothly and no one is screaming and running around. Everyone here was so welcoming and we could tell that they all wanted each guest to feel welcomed and important. The atmosphere was warm and although buzzing with energy it felt peaceful. Tess our server did a great job of checking in on us when needed but never too much and an empty plate never sat around for more than 30 seconds. My fiancé and I came here to celebrate our engagement and they gave us a complimentary dessert of our choice. We chose the crème brûlée (possibly the best we’ve ever had) with fresh berries. We enjoyed perfectly cooked steaks a beer and a cocktail. Will be recommending this place to everyone I know!

We recently dined at 131 MAIN in South Park and had an overall good experience, largely thanks to our server, Alex. He was funny, efficient, and took great care of us throughout the evening. We started with the corn bread and smoked salmon—both were delicious—and I thoroughly enjoyed my steak. While the food and Alex's service were definite highlights, the host checking in guests at the door seemed a bit lost, and the woman who initially seated us was cold and dismissive. However, a young lady overseeing the table seatings (the only African American woman) was on top of everything and helped smooth things out despite the earlier confusion. Alex really made the night special with his excellent service, and we’ll definitely be back, hoping for the same great food and care.

Came down from Winston Salem to eat here- parking isn't the best but I had the veggie burger and it was easily the best veggie burger I have had in my life!!!!!! I will definitely be going back

I am visiting Charlotte for the 3rd time this year, and all 3 times I have eaten at the bar at 131 Main. As a traveler, there is no better place to eat. The food is excellent and the prices are decent. My 3” thick pork chop was perfectly prepared. But what really gets me coming back is the atmosphere at the bar. Every time I have met great people who engaged me in conversation and the bartenders are part of that environment. They feed the banter and make it a great experience. I’m already looking forward for my next trip.
