6 or more tables left empty because staff is lazy and could not bus them. By the time they cleaned them over half an hour passed and it threatened to make us late for our flight

The food was exceptionally mediocre, tap list was solid, staff was friendly. I would probably choose to grab a beer at Wicked Weed and get Chikfila or Shake Shack before coming here.

Are here on 3/23/25… let me preface this review by saying that my server (Josh) was fantastic. The hostess on the other hand… she legitimately hates her job… maybe she was having a bad day… sat close enough where I got to witness her “greeting” all of the guest at the hostess station. Josh saved the day on my perception of this place. The food was pretty good as well.

This has got to be the most incompetent staff I have ever seen in my life! We waited close to an hour and a half for our food before we walked out without eating. The most mind blowing part of the experience was watching ALL 4 COOKS walk to the back and disappear. When we asked the server why nobody’s making any food she said “they all took a 15.” We noticed a salad waiting under a heated lamp for well over half an hour… When we walked out we went to the “grab and go” to get food there instead and when we asked for a slice of the pizza the employee told us she was going on break and walked away. Are you kidding me?! I’ve been to a lot of restaurants, as well as worked in them. Never have I ever seen a show quite like this.

We sat at the bar while waiting for our connecting flight. Bartender was soo rude from the beginning. I would not recommend eating at this establishment or any of the of HMS properties unless you enjoy dealing with rude servers. Good luck.

Ok I know it's airport food. But the steak was cold. The sauce ehh the French fries were cold and tough to get seated or get serves attention. And ok I know it's an airport but $23 for a margarita rail! No thanks

What you would expect for an airport meal. A decent menu and atmosphere that comes along with overpriced food. Service was pretty slow. One entree came out before the others. The waitress said it would just be a few minutes on the rest, but by the time the other two entrees came out, she had practically finished eating since it took so long! We didn’t ever get proper silverware either.

The ladies that worked the counter and the cash register were great. The waitress was abrupt and racist. She picked the two tables that had people of color and told them we could not sit at a table. We had to sit at the high tops. The tables were for those that planned to eat here. We were told by the others we could sit anywhere to eat in the dining area. Rude!! First and last time we will choose to eat at the 1897 Market!

I must say this pm the service was horrible. I was so hungry and looking to eat beef, asking for references and was given the name
of this place, decided to order a brisket, I asked the bartender who seemed so unhappy 6:00 pm 3/8/25, and she said it was, bit as soon as my order came in, and I had my first bite it tasted like pork. Unfortunately, menu doesn’t say what it is 🙈 she didn’t really know but she was seemed so upset. Was not so much the food, but definitely the service was bad. Paid for my drink and left. Definitely need more $$ for their staff or more training.

I travel extensively for work and while most airports have had major upgrades with their food, this location is terrible. Precooked food sitting around, stay away!

I stopped by for a quick bite, in an airport, where everyone is on a schedule. I ordered only a “starter”-chicken strips. It took almost 25 minutes for them to come out. About 20 minutes in, I indicated to my server that I was getting worried about the time. She rather tersely said, when it is ready it will be brought to you. Most airport restaurants I’ve been to have a menu and attitude conducive to getting you out to make your connecting flight. While the food was good, I’d never risk it again. The atmosphere is tough to address because they had me tucked against a pillar in the least desirable table in the restaurant.

I had that chicken pesto pizza and it didn’t taste good, my meal was changed to the chicken sandwich the truffle fries and honestly, it still was not good either.

Horrible experience. I waited for 20 minutes just to be seateted when they were not busy in the slightest. Rude staff that didn’t give 2 damns, probably the lowest gratuity given out in my life here do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money.
