The chicken alambre tacos are my go to but I've never ordered anything I didn't like. My only complaint with this restaurant is the refried beans are typically a bit on the thin side for my liking but the flavor is good. But the taco definitely makes up for it. My favorite chicken taco in Charlotte hands down.

Came here on a Wednesday, they had a special $4.50 beer; I got 2 and also had a Mexican corn on the cob it was great.
I forgot my debit card. I called Jose the next day and he verified they had it, I stopped by to pick it up and they had another special; margarita flight for $15. I also ordered their shredded beef quesadilla which came with fries Everything was delicious. Jose is super friendly and it is a great casual dining spot.

I will be back!!

First and last time me and my boyfriend go there. We went on Sunday around 9pm and it was completely empty. I wanted to get an Agua de Horchata but didn't have any. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn't have Horchata. We wanted to try the tacos and were horrible, not to mention way too expensive for what we got. The tortillas were nasty and the side portions were kid sized. To top the bad food, the Queso dip tasted like half and half, not even cheesy. The experience was just horrible and I never plan on coming back. If you are desperate, just go to cook out. At least you know what you are getting when you go over there.

We were out of town and wanted some Mexican food. We finally settled on this restaurant. The salsa was great and the chips were thick and not the thin ones that a lot of Mexican restaurants have. The cheese dip was great! We both order fajitas and they were wonderful! We will most definitely be back when in the area!

I was really looking forward to trying a low-carb version of the ACP (Arroz con Pollo), but unfortunately the dish completely missed the mark. I didn’t mind it being cheesy. That’s part of what ACP is known for, but it’s also supposed to be creamy. It was advertised as with crema. Which in my experience is usually a sour cream sauce. What I got was just dry shredded chicken and vegetables under a thick layer of melted cheese, with no creaminess whatsoever.

I had requested grilled veggies instead of rice and beans, along with pickled jalapeños, but the jalapeños weren’t included. When I asked, I was brought fresh ones instead — despite clarifying my request twice. When I mentioned the lack of crema, the server showed me a to-go container with cold sour cream, pico, and shredded lettuce, (That was with my to-go meal).

It felt like because I didn’t order the default rice-and-beans version, the dish was treated like a downgrade. The grilled veggies were minimal, and overall it just lacked the flavor and balance I expected from a good ACP plate.

The mock margarita, however, was solid, refreshing with a nice tajín rim. I really enjoyed that.

I might give them another try, but I’d definitely be more cautious with custom orders next time. I wanted to love this , but I left disappointed.

I gave it another try. I think it's just me its just not for me. I got a chicken quesadilla and spicy margarita and some queso. Everything was just very bland. The drink wasn't horrible, I finished it. But I still didn't to much care for it. Beware of getting sides of sour cream or pico. Both were almost $2 a piece. The customer service is fantastic. The manager did have a little attitude when I was expressing my grievances. But ok overall he was still mostly professional. The waiter was very kind and attentive.

I really wasn’t impressed with this restaurant. It has 5 star prices without the quality to match. The tacos are $7 a piece and had no flavor. I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican restraints over the years but this ranks towards the bottom for tacos. I got the carne asada and it wasn’t charred at all nor was it seasoned. Looking at the other reviews that voiced similar concerns over the years, it’s safe to say they aren’t listening to their customers. Was here right before noon and restaurant is completely empty. I am the only customer. Probably won’t be back.

If you have yet to visit 1900 Mexican Grill, you must go and try their table-side guacamole!! It’s what guac dreams are made of.. almost buttery!

I usually come in here from school just to get lunch or something to drink but after today I will
No longer be going here . For me to come in as I do it shouldnt be a problem to ask for a container . The man behind the bar had a major attitude today which is said because im already at school all day having to deal with stuff but I don’t take my anger out on others as I feel he did with me . He also threw my change down on the table and also gave me a tiny container when I asked for a to go container . He knew what I was asking for . It’s just disappointing because while the food is good . He shouldn’t have had that energy with me it made me uncomfortable

Came on a Saturday around 5 pm and were immediately seated at a table for 2. Music was loud but we were still able to carry on a conversation. Plenty of seating inside and outside on their patio. Ordered 2 chicken tortas with fries. It did take a while for the chips and salsa to be brought to our table but no biggie. The torta was delicious and the fries were nice and crisp and thankfully not soggy. Overall the whole ambiance was great. Our server was very efficient and friendly. Plenty of side street parking and a free parking lot beside the building. Overall great and delicious Mexican restaurant and will return.

This place felt like an Applebees of Mexican restaurants. The food wasn’t particularly good either. It just had chain Mexican restaurant vibes and with so many more authentic restaurant options available I’m unsure why you would choose this one? The portions are large and the staff was really nice but we went at lunch on a Saturday and we were the only people in the restaurant. Top that off with the rather high pricing and I just don’t think you’re really getting a great money and value exchange. The Mexican restaurant that I frequent is $2.50 for tacos and $4 for margaritas. Here the 2 taco 2 side meal was like $16-$18? I also felt like I was eating food that looked good but tasted like essence of food. The flavors just weren’t very robust or particularly seasoned I guess.

It was just okay. There are so many better options. But if you’re nearby and short on time to go literally anywhere else this is an acceptable option.
