The Hamilton Event Spaces

Oversold. Super early into the evening the bathrooms were already dirty in VIP - which is standing room only unless you call in advance, despite the website saying there are only seats available for purchase the day of the show. I don't mind paying more for seats. I expect it. I just wish the venue was more transparent about the process.

Where do I begin!! I can't say enough about this place and staff! I found the Hamilton by doing a google search and taking a chance and was not disappointed. I hosted a friendsgiving and had friends travel from all over and they all felt welcomed here. This was fully coordinated by phone and email as I am out of state! As the planner type this was a dream come true because I didn't have to set up, break down or anything---I could just host! I did a half space and used their catering which included a drink package that was inclusive of all the beverage types. What set them over the bar for me was that I have a friend with food allergies and they helped me curate a menu that was inclusive of her and my other guests. They labeled everything appropriately! I also went for a taste testing before the event. It had unfortunately slipped my mind and my main coordinator Emily contacted me to remind me that I had wanted to and from the sample and her kindness I was sold. The day of the event I asked to come a bit early to set up little trinkets for my guests and they were there waiting for me and were so kind , my extended coordinators Ben, Kara and Becca stepped in for Emily. They were a dream team and were patient with my friends and I as they got in their songs for our playlist which played the whole time and added to the ambiance. I also needed to change for my event and their bathrooms were amazing, tidy and clean! The security, staff and bartender were all amazing and it felt like they were in my little friend group so I had to thank them for all they did (when people all vibe to a playlist I think thats a good sign). My guests enjoyed and there was plenty of parking in a nice well lit space. All in all I think if you want to have a small or large gathering here, you should! They will have exactly what you need and i can't recommend them enough!

I've watched two shows and both have been AWESOME!

Loved this venue! Super clean and organized. All the staff were kind and helpful. The security team is TOP NOTCH! Please give the security team on hand for the Bilmuri show on 9/21 a raise! They all worked extremely hard to ensure that everyone in the crowd was safe. Especially the security guard named Carrington. A fight broke out during the set and he flew over the guard rail without hesitation to break it up. My son had forgotten his ear plugs in the car before the show and one of the other security guards (didn’t catch his name) got him a pair. Our experience at The Fillmore was nothing short of phenomenal. 11/10 would recommend.

This is easily the worst venue I have ever been to in my life. They oversold the tickets for architects here with NO AC. It was 100 during the day and we would have rather been outside in the sun than be inside this place. By the time architects came out it was 84 outside and 100 degrees inside. They had everyone packed in like sardines, didn’t care that there wasn’t enough room for people standing. If you see in pictures where there was room to stand, they had it taped off on the floor where security would tell you to get back because it either belonged to vip or they needed 6 feet room for a walkway around the place. They had tvs blocking the view. We could have moved closer in but it felt like a 20 degree difference with just a few inches of space between people in the back. People couldn’t even breathe in there. If they are trying to say the AC was working it’s definitely a lie, we put our hands against outfeeds and return vents with no air at all in or out. There were three people, that I saw myself, pass out from heat, two escorted out by security and one girl having some kind of heat stroke by the bar. At least the bartenders cared enough to get her iced down. Miserable experience. We have upcoming tickets to see NOTHING MORE in January and we are cancelling. Don’t come here.

Nice... had a good time

The “Of The Trees” show at The Fillmore Charlotte 2/27/25 was WAY over-sold. There was barely any standing room at all and people could barely move. I LOVE the artist but we left early… it sucked. Last time I’m ever going to this venue.

I have no idea where to start. This place is amazing. Amazing team, venue, food, drinks, the list could go on and on. I hosted my works' holiday party here at their Karaoke Ave event space. I connected with Kara, the owner, to book and plan the event. She was wonderful every step of the way. She gave me a tour of the space prior to booking the event. I was immediately hooked as soon as I saw the space. She was super helpful and kind. And a down to earth person which gave me great confidence in this event space.

The night of the party was a complete success. Ben was our host for the evening. He made the whole experience really worth it and I'm truly in awe of his dedication to these events. For the first time in forever, I had nothing to worry about during a holiday party. Ben is a gem. Ben is a treasure. He is a pleasure! I am so thankful for him and the team that took care of us. Food was extremely delicious. The karaoke room was sooo fun! And our dj, Anthony, was a blast!

This place is 10/10. No 1000000/10. I am so happy we went with The Hamilton. I hope to have our future events here again.

Over priced drinks and they kick you out if you’re having a good time. It’s like they have a deal with the cops and hospital

To Ben and everyone at Karaoke at the Hamilton, you made my birthday festivities so much fun!!!! From the bottom of my 💗 I appreciate you so much for the good vibes. My friends and I sang and laughed and had an amazing time. I know things are shifting into different public and private events offerings -- I'm cheering you on for every adventure ahead of you. Can't wait to visit you again!

A fantastic place for your event, we hold annual corporate events here annually. Beautiful space, efficient staff, good food and bar. The karaoke room is so unique and fun!

After touring the venue for a non profit fundraiser, my colleague and I were given verbal assurance that the space and date that we wanted was available. We were told that the contract would be emailed within a day or so. Weeks went by. My colleague and I made numerous attempts over the course of those weeks to reach the venue and its owner's. We received no reply other than an apology for the lack of communication. There is no excuse for this ineptitude. Fortunately, we found another venue and had the signed contract the next day.

First time here and I had a great time doing Karaoke with my girls. The bartender Savion was amazing. Will definitely be back !

They allow thieves in the LGBTQ + to throw drag brunches. Y’all should be ashamed. Then they limit the comments so the community can’t speak on it.
