A Piece of Havana

Our dining experience was phenomenal!!!!!!!! Our server MJ was literally so sweet to us!!! She literally was a ray of freaking sunshine. I’ve been out the restaurant game for a long time and I love meeting people that have such a welcoming and bubbly personality! Yall better keep that girl! Would 10/10 come back and ask for her. And this is my second time here. My first experience was ok; but this definitely sealed the deal for me to come a third! Shoutout to good food and vibes for the night!

Me and my husband have been here twice and every time we go on a Friday or Saturday, we always have a good time. I always get the 10oz skirt steak with rice and sweet plantains. My husband got the quarter chicken with rice and he liked it a lot. We also tried the guacamole dish with fresh, warm fried plantain chips and that was really good too. They have live music and everyone is always dancing and its a family friendly atmosphere. The prices are also reasonable and our server is always good

Automatic gratuity was added regardless of party size. I typically tip 20%, but I prefer tipping to reflect the service rather than it being automatic. We also had trouble finding our waitress, despite the restaurant not being busy. The food was average, so overall it wasn’t an experience I’d recommend.

It was ok had a mixed grill , mussels , lobster were overcooked. It was quite expensive and as most places in Miami they will add as much to the bill as possible , resort tax, service and also ask for additional tip.

The food was really good! Menu prices are reasonable. Empanadas were full and flavorful. The drinks were generous and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the Ropa Vieja and Garlic Shrimp. There is live music here on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 8pm! We will be back!

A slice of downtown South Beach. Delicious paella and the meat dish with peppers. We went twice.

First time visitor. The food was decent. I've had better flavored vaca frita in Los Angeles and D.C. But for Charlotte it was cool. Overall Maribe, my waitress, made the experience so much better. She was attententive without being over bearing. I would come back if I lived in the area.

It is an excellent place to eat with a family environment and good prices. It has a variety of delicious food. The parking is very spacious. Will definitely come again soon!!

If I could give 0 stars, is what this place should have.
-Not a good customer service
-Food was wack
And top of the cherry, server never printed a copy of my bill which came up to $95 some, mind you! she just said it out loud while looking at an iPad she was holding, I ended up paying with a $100 bill, I did not ask for change, I want to think tip was not included in my bill since I DID NOT RECEIVED A COPY (also I did not ask cuz its common sense in the restaurant industry you should give a copy to customer after bill is pay unless they tell you otherwise, but it never happened)
I assume waitresses are hungry and in need cuz I don’t think anybody will actually tip, and if they do is out of pity, I don’t think anybody will tip due to a great customer service lol… Hope you guys get better servers an cooks, people with a more upbringing spirits who actually deserves the money.
