I came here for the NCAA tournament and my first time in charlotte. The rooftop bar is on point. All the bartenders made great drinks. Shout out to will. Will and I talked about the drinks I like and he mixed up things that weren’t even on the menu and they were the best drinks I have had in a long time. The balance in them was impeccable. I highly recommend to anyone to go to their bar. Great views and even better service

Very relaxing open air space. Plenty of seating for large groups spread out in a way that encourages private conversations. The lighting was perfectly dimmed, not too dark, inviting. The staff polite and genuinely greeted everyone with a warm smile and invitation to return.

This AC misses the mark. This is a combined marriott flagged hotel with the AC and Residence inn under one room on desperate floors. The location is not idea, what is perceived to be the main entrance is roped off and you have to go around the corner, adjacent to the bus station & BK, to enter the first lobby. During our stay, especially at night, the entrance area has a lot of people (non guests) loitering and definitely doesn’t feel welcoming or that safe. There is no direction in the first floor lobby other than a few signs to direct you to which floor to goto for your hotel brand. There appears to have been a front welcome or security desk, but it wasn’t staffed once during the stay. Check in for AC was up a few floors. The staff was cold and not particularly welcoming. We did receive a nice corner room, with large windows, which was nice. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was ok, 2 of the soap dispensers on the wall had fallen off previously and were just sitting on the ledge for use. The bathroom was clean. Just a lack of attention to detail was clear. The hydration station on the floor (Quintessential AC Amenity) was really poorly done. The water was just an unfiltered faucet, no pitchers provided, and there was no ICE (machine not on). Didn’t have breakfast but the coffee bar was good and always a nice perk. Simply due to the precarious location, coupled with the cold service, I would advise to stay elsewhere.

Very cool, hip rooftop. We took out of town friends there later in the evening. We were not exactly dressed for success but was welcomed and given great service. Great views as well. Highly recommend.

Best chill spot with a quiet bar while you’re waiting for a show to start… right across the street from the Spectrum Arena with a view of the entrance and crowd down below!!!

This location worked well because it was close to the light rail to take us places. The room we were assigned on the 8th floor had a concrete obstruction and was not a good view by any means. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful, however, housekeeping was a disappointment. Although we had requested service when we left at 11, it was still not completed by 2:30, so we asked again. When we returned around 6, the beds had been made but that was about all. The trash had not been emptied or the sink cleaned. Also, it had not been vacuumed. We expected more from a Marriott.

We stayed at the Residence Inn. We used the valet service both days. J. Brown was an exceptional valet. Quick and courteous! Hotel was in a great location for anything happening uptown! The bartender, Tysha, was also wonderful! Breakfast was good too.

The service is amazing! The people who work here are great! The food for me personally wasnt great, at first my steak was too salty then the manager (who is an amazing person) took it back to have it re-done, but it came back kinda flavorless lol so no happy mefium. But i also tried the braised short rib which was fine. Come here for the good music, great vibes, great staff, and expect to only have a quick snack here. Drinks are great too!

When I pulled up to the Hotel, I was immediately greeted with amazing customer service from the valet, Sam and his team are extremely hospitable and I had no problem leaving my car in their care, All the hotel staff greeted me when I walked by, truly one of the best hotels I've been to in Charlotte. Highly recommended

Amazing hotel and location! I surprised my husband with tickets to the Charlotte Hornets and I had no idea the hotel was literally across the street from the arena. The hotel was nice, clean and spacious. Everyone we spoke to that worked there treated us well. The location to museums, bars, shopping and restaurants are all walking distance. This is definitely the place to stay.

We booked this hotel as a treat for our granddaughter’s graduation because they have a rooftop restaurant and bar (the main reason to book this hotel). Unfortunately they would not let her in being under 21 - we feel like we wasted money and effort booking here. Soooo disappointed. Very confusing reception - we met many people walking around in a daze trying to find the lobby.
