I’ve heard about Anju through some people that I follow on social media. They have only posted amazing picture and said great things about this place and I can confirm they’re on point with what they say. Charlotte needs a restaurant like Anju, bringing diversity, something new and executing delicious food and welcoming service! I treated myself to a solo dinner and it was exactly what I needed. David, my bartender, guided me through the menu with both food and beverages. We made great conversation and it was just a great experience overall. Anyone who enjoys good food and something new should definitely take the opportunity to come here!

Had a wonderful dinner at Anju, we ordered the tteokbokki, kalbi and the sweet soy garlic chicken. All the dishes were beyond great. The atmosphere was very chill and comforting. Service was on point too, the owner was very nice and our server was very attentive.

Growth is possible here! Service was on point! Enjoyed the experience with friends, and I can see where some dishes have potential. Seafood Pancake (Waffle) could be crispier as could the fried chicken. Everything came on a bed of shredded kale which understandbly edible, was a touch obtrusive when eating with chopsticks.

It’s so difficult to find good & authentic Korean food in charlotte and lemme tell you; it was sooooooooooo good (speaking from a Korean). Everyone working was so kind and attentive. It’s a nice hangout spot, will most definitely go again.

Really authentic Korean food. Service is quick and very friendly. We sat at the bar and it felt very intimate. Their spicy food is really, really spicy. Looking forward to how this place develops as we went on one of their first nights open and they seemed like they were figuring things out.
Excellent! Came on a Fri night around 6:30 and easily got a seat. However, it started filling up fast after our arrival. They greet you with a big welcome upon walking through the door :) They have both table seating as well as two types of bar area seating. It's not a large place, but laid out well to accommodate quite a few people. Got the K-Pop going on the TV's giving it that special vibe. Music wasn't too loud to be able to talk, but loud enough to drown out conversations from people sitting next to you :) They have a good selection of beers on draft which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered the Kimchi Jeon ($14) for an appetizer. It's called a pancake....but it's really a waffle. Never seen that before :) My bride went with the Sweet Soy Garlic Chicken ($16) and enjoyed it commenting the chicken was tender, moist and well prepared. I went with the Jeyuk Bokkeum Spicy Pork ($18) and it was excellent! Loved the authenticity of the Korean spicy flavors. Service was very friendly from the entire team. It's not far from our home so we will be coming back!
