There happened to be two birthday celebrations while my family was there. I'm all for people celebrating, but it was loud enough that my 2-year-old started to cry.

Had the pleasure of dining here tonight as suggested by an uber driver who is from Mexico and I told him I’ll check it out. Mauricio was our server and was amazing! He was so kind and attentive. The menu has a large selection. I decided on the two option combination which was the perfect amount for comfortable full and you can go for 3 options if you have a bigger appetite. My husband had the seafood soup which he said is very good. It came out in a huge bowl. And the decor inside is cute with the woodwork carvings. The place was busy which shows its popularity. There’s also a separate bar area there. With the large menu I think you can always come and try something new. Next time I’m back in Charlotte I will definitely be back. Additionally there is ample parking with a lot in the front and continues behind the restaurant and to the side with another parking area.
Nice place with great food. Always love coming here from time to time. I always order the Quesabirrias and the Dos Compadres. 🙌🏻🙏🏻🤍🔥

We visited Azteca on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, we had a very pleasant experience.. the food was on point, the margaritas were refreshing with the right amount of kick, the atmosphere was inviting..
The amount of food was also good for the price, food was tasty, we ordered quesadillas, and chimichangas.. the service was prompt..
