Our experience at BaoDing was nothing short of amazing. The food was incredible, and the service was so lovely. Our waiter cared to our every need and went above and beyond!

I would say this is the best Chinese food in all of Charlotte. We've been many times and haven't been disappointed. It's real food like you would find in New York City or South Florida. The service is quick and attentive. My favorite!!!

Got the general tsao chicken and was disappointed it was more breading than chicken. And the veggies were uncooked carrots and broccoli that they just threw on the plate. I ended up removing them. I asked for extra spicy and the dish wasn't even a bit spicy. The egg drop soup was lacking in flavor.

I had high hopes for Baoding but unfortunately it is a huge letdown. I do have to give credit to my server…she was awesome! That’s where it stops. The steamed dumplings were ok but the main course? Terrible! Fried rice that pretty much isn’t fried and whereas the beef? I was able to pull Out the protein and eat it in two spoons. Egg Foo Young, forget it. A giant salt bomb. I’ve been enjoying egg foo young since I was 6 years old. I asked the guy delivering it what the heck was it and why was it covered in gravy already. He just spouts at me “That’s how egg foo young always served” Hey dude…BS The server said she would remove it from my check (which she did) but not one manager came to the table to ask questions or offer solutions. Therefore I will finish with…this is a pretentious restaurant masquerading as a Chinese restaurant. Skip this place. Oh more thing…Peking duck is served as breast leg and thigh bone in the leg…not here

Dirty restaurant. The food was horrible and we left it all. The service was horrendous. Rude employees and despicable manager who only knows how to make ridiculous excuses. Don’t go!! Fried rice haha!! Not fried!! It’s white rice with egg in it.
