After driving 40 miles one way on Tuesday 10/28/25 arrived at 6pm bc they weren't answering the phone to discover they were closed bc they sold out of food. But said they would some how have more tomorrow so after calling at 9am they did answer & said they were open with food. I ask do they have chicken & bbq they said yes. But I forgot to ask about #onionrings, driving another 40 miles one way at 3pm to get chicken & bbq but no freaking #onionrings! Say gut wrenching 😢, I hope they order extra supplies if they remain open thru the 8th of November. other than that the food is excellent & I hope they find another place to reopen. Never give up please Alex & family.

My husband and I had not been to this drive in restaurant in around a 8 months. The food was nothing like it used to be to be. We both had Fish & shrimp…both was soft on the inside as if it was on the verge of being spoiled. Once, we begin to eat, we stopped eating and told the person who brought the food. We wasn’t offered something else. The tea / lemonade tasted like water. We will never return.. Disappointed!!!!

Everything was perfect! Antoine was a great server, nice, accommodating, and seeming down to earth. Food was great; hot, crispy, and flavorful! I’ll probably ask for salt on the side next time because fries needed them. Atmosphere was great because I love a good historic/cultured place to eat. Thank you guys!

Ordered 2 BBQ combos with chicken and pork BBQ, 1 white meat, 1 dark meat. Thought we might have found a hidden gem but was disappointed BBQ pork tasted old and the chicken was not seasoned outside of the sauce which tasted like texas Pete with honey added. I really wanted to enjoy this place but it was not giving like I planned it to be. Surely thought that they would be better than Hillbillies BBQ which mediocre at its best.
