After driving 40 miles one way on Tuesday 10/28/25 arrived at 6pm bc they weren't answering the phone to discover they were closed bc they sold out of food. But said they would some how have more tomorrow so after calling at 9am they did answer & said they were open with food. I ask do they have chicken & bbq they said yes. But I forgot to ask about #onionrings, driving another 40 miles one way at 3pm to get chicken & bbq but no freaking #onionrings! Say gut wrenching...
Everything was perfect! Antoine was a great server, nice, accommodating, and seeming down to earth. Food was great; hot, crispy, and flavorful! I’ll probably ask for salt on the side next time because fries needed them.
Atmosphere was great because I love a good historic/cultured place to eat. Thank you guys!

Food still good, been going here over 45 years, only real difference is the cost. Still have a grumpy lady answering the phone, brings back old times when Red used to work there answering the phone.
