Pizza was great. Salad was also great and the waiter was helpful and suggested adding Salmon to top it off. Was prepared perfectly. They are very flexible on the entrees even though they have some sort of disclaimer in the menu like they are going to charge you for changing something. Very large drink menu. They should however show you what they are going to charge for them! It was a very quite weekday. (Tuesday) A little pricey for a pizza and salad.

I had an incredible experience at Bar One in South Park Charlotte (now known as 800 lounge) , and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Chris. From the moment we sat down, Chris made us feel genuinely welcomed. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, and his knowledge of the menu and cocktails was impressive. Chris gave spot-on recommendations—everything he suggested was delicious—and he consistently checked in at the right times to make sure we had everything we needed. His friendly personality and professionalism elevated the entire dining experience. If you’re visiting Bar One, definitely ask for Chris. He turned a great night out into an exceptional one! Highly recommend.

Our food was very good (entree salad with chicken, pizza and Caesar salad) but our service was definitely lacking. We were at our table for over 15 minutes without any acknowledgment from our server. It was only after I said something to the hostess that someone showed up with water. We also felt it was expensive for what we had.

I really enjoyed my visit to 800 Degrees Lounge Bar. The food was great I loved everything I ordered, from the appetizers to the pizza , salad and drinks. The ambience was also really nice, perfect for a relaxed evening. However, I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't try any of their pastas. I tried to order around 9:15 PM (on a Saturday night, with the restaurant open until 11), but they were out of all pasta options. That was unexpected and a little letdown. Other than that, everything else was wonderful great flavors, good service, and a cozy vibe. I'll definitely visit again, hopefully when the pasta's available!

Food overpriced except for the pizzas. Cocktails prices are “out of sight” even for Charlotte. My wife had a dirty vodka (Tito's) martini for a price of $23.00. Understand, Tito's is a good medium vodka but definitely not “top shelf.” I had a gin martini using Bombay Safire, (a top shelf gin), which was $20. The manager could not explain the price difference and made reference to my wife's martini being “wet.” I have no idea what that meant. Overall, just feel like we were taken advantage of. Will not return and will tell my friends not to go.

Dinner in the bar lounge in the rear. Nice adult ambiance with a few nice banquets and several high tops and tables. Drinks were pretty good but we thought the servings were smallish. The pizzas were pretty nice, good for two to share. The pastas sadly came out quite cold and we had to have those remade, and they were just okay. Server was very attentive and pleasant. But wow! Did they recently jack the prices? Dinner came in at $312 for 4 people w/tip, for pizzas and 2 shared pastas. I'd expect to pay that for fresh seafood or steaks. Inflation? Tariffs? Nice experience overall, dropped points for value.
