So great to find Beef & Bottle. Such a wonderful old-time supper club feel without extravagant pricing. Wonderful cocktails and the food is excellent.
The experience at Beef & Bottle is always exceptional, from the service to the atmosphere and of course the food. If you're looking for quiet, request the side room - with limited tables of 2/4, you can avoid noisier larger groups. The filet medallions were perfect and do not resist the apple pie with cinnamon ice cream!
I always feel bad about having to leave a negative review but I feel like I need to be honest about my experience this week at this restaurant. Four of us dined and we had two filet mignon and two prime ribs. We all ordered, medium, rare and all of our meat came out very rare. Additionally, the prime rib was so tough. I had to spit some back into a napkin. The two of us that had the filet mignon were very pleased with the flavor, but both of them felt that they were undercooked based on what they ordered. My salad was overdressed and the side orders were just basic. We even ordered dessert and really it was nothing I would care to repeat. It seemed very understaffed because we didn't get our waters filled and weren't able to order another glass of wine. I know this is a Charlotte institution and I've eaten there a few times I just think for that exorbitant price the experience should be so much better and there's so much competition now in Charlotte That I think they should do better.
I've been dining at BnB for my entire life. It's great to see a longtime restaurant survive and thrive in a rapidly changing city! Service, cuisine, and atmosphere are top notch!
Steak was not cooked correctly, expect more when food is that expensive. Not worth the price. Went for birthday and was very disappointed.
e! We had an absolutely wonderful dinner! From start to finish, everything was top-notch — the food was perfectly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening out. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great dining experience — we'll definitely be back
Beef and Bottle was awesome!! My steak was prepared perfectly and our waiter, Chip was super knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The wine list is outstanding. Oh, and the dessert, delicious. You must try the apple pie with cinnamon & brown sugar ice cream. Thank you for making our Anniversary celebration even more special with such a wonderful steak dinner.
I was excited to finally visit Beef N Bottle, a restaurant that's often considered a local culinary institution. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly faded when we had to park in an overflow lot at a neighboring business. Still, I decided to stay optimistic. Once inside, we were quickly seated but in no between two large, noisy parties, which made it difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices—or just sitting in awkward silence. While the service was friendly and attentive, the menu was disappointing. Several items I asked about were unavailable, leaving us with limited options. We ended up ordering chicken and rice, sirloin steak, and shrimp scampi. The food was average at best, and the drinks were just okay. Nothing really stood out. This was a bucket list visit for me, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. We paid our bill and left, and I don't see myself returning.
Service was really good. food wasn't what it was hyped up to be, wasn't flavorful. wife's steak was overcooked, some items i never received. They were super packed so i dont won't to be too harsh.
This was our first time to Beef and Bottle. We were given a small dark table where it was so dark I had to find a light to read the menu. It was also cramped. Although there were lots of tables in the room another couple were seated right next to us. So we could hear each of our conversations. Service was very poor. Our waitress was never around. We kept asking the other waitress for things such as drinks, dessert and our check. We weren't told that prime rib was the special! So we had ordered steaks. We both had wanted prime rib!!! We heard the waitress next to us tell the other couple. I had even asked our waitress for the specials. But she obviously didn't tell us correctly. My ribeye looked like a sirloin. No fat in it. Was under cooked. Husbands T-bone was also not cooked correctly. Both steaks were lacking flavor. I've had better steaks and service at chains like Outback and Texas Roadhouse! Also they were cheaper than $235!

Great service the waiter said he had been working there 22 years and it definitely showed! He was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for such a great experience
3 steals where not cooked correctly but good. Ask for medium they came medium rare. It was our anniversary and brought in-laws file first time there. My husband steak was not edible I have home half my filet.
The only problem was the steak. Got a rib eye, it had so much gristle it was very had to chew. I always order my steak medium rare. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with their steaks.
Excellent food and service as always. Definitely my favorite place to eat. We had a party of 6, everyone was extremely satisfied. Looking forward to the next time.

Center cut sirloin was asked to be cooked medium well. It came out blood red raw. It was also fatty and grisly throughout. For the price, the quality was not what was expected.
