Sat at the bar and Diane took great care of us. She made a dynamite Old Fashioned.Great food for a reasonable price. We had a 24 ounce T-bone and it was enough for both of us and took leftovers home.
I know this is a Charlotte staple but I'm not really sure what the hype is about. Our first visit was during the pandemic and nothing was right, it was awful in fact. However, several of our friends insisted we give it a second chance, so we finally did. Our server was slow but friendly. It is a bit frustrating knowing you only have an hour and half for your table, and you watch as people who arrived well after you are eating dinner well before your meal arrives. So as not...
This is our go to special occasion place and as usual everything was perfect. Our server was great! I'm sorry I'm not sure of his name...maybe Cory...has been there for 22 years...tall, thin bald? Very friendly and professional. We had New York Strip, filet mignon, oysters Rockefeller and the fabulous Spinach dip . Totally delicious!
