Had a great craic here. Really good bar with great drinks. But what made it was the bartender, Ciaran from Belfast, was sound and quick witted. It’s always great going into an Irish bar get a good slaghing feels like home. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone visiting or living in Charlotte.

Sign accurate. Friendly bartenders. Much fun.
Belfast Mill Irish Pub is a cozy little spot with a great neighborhood vibe.
It’s on the smaller side, mostly bar seating with one larger booth that can fit a small group, which honestly adds to the charm.
Service was quick, and the bartender was really friendly and attentive.
They have a solid selection of beers and an impressive variety of liquors—especially whiskeys and bourbons—so there’s plenty to choose from.
There are multiple TVs, a dart area, and when we were there, a lot of people were watching soccer and playing darts, which made for a fun, laid-back atmosphere.
There’s also a small outdoor seating area off the alley that’s perfect for people-watching. One small unisex bathroom inside, but overall everything was clean and well kept.
If you’re looking for a quiet, classic Irish pub with good drinks, friendly service, and a relaxed vibe, this is a nice little spot to stop into. 🍻

I sat out at this bar for 2 hours and literally watched 10 to 15 people come sober and leave high on drugs. They need to shut this place down
It has probably be a year or so since I went here. This great little pub turned in to my spot for the long weekend I was in Charlotte. The bartenders made us feel like regulars and even met up with up at the concert we were in town for. The patrons of the pub also were genuinely friendly and engaging. 10/10 recommend.

Great Irish Pub. There is no kitchen in the pub, so food must be ordered from outside.

My personal experience was great but it’s weird that the bartender force customers to tip. I saw him tell two different people who were here from Mexico to watch the game that “ he gets paid 2$ per hour, that this America, And they have to tip. If not then you have to leave.” I’m a bartender myself so I understand that he wants to get tipped for his service but I don’t think the way he treated people was correct.
