Excellent evening once again at Bernardin's our go to for uptown dining on special occasions. Unpretentious and always delish.
My husband and I went to Bernadin's for our 12th year anniversary. We had the duck spring rolls, roasted muscovy duck breast, and chicken nicoise. All the dishes were good. The service was fast and our server was attentive.

Tried to go and have a drink at 8:30 and the door was locked so I called and they said they were closed even though on the door and online they say open until 10. If you’re going to say you’re open until 10 be open until 10. Totally waste of time and money to pay to park for nothing. Beware

Rosa was awesome! The food at Bernardin's never disappoints. The elk and lamb were pretty perfect (temperature and flavor), and the chef accommodated minor substitutions readily while maintaining the integrity of his creations (some just won't).
i rarely provide rating or review but our dinner was outstanding. great service and overall experience. I got the elk medium but should have requested rare. but that is on me. wife had the salmon. wonderful. already talking about taking friends.
The food and service were excellent. Our server, Allison, was very attentive and professional.
If you like history and good food, this is a great stop! Housed in the historic Ratcliffe Florist Shop building (originally built circa 1929) and later adapted to restaurant use; its architecture is Mediterranean Revival style by architect William H. Peeps. Its location is in a bustling part of downtown so they can be quite busy.
I popped in on a weekday for lunch and just sat at the bar and I had the Caesar wrap and it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had! I would 100% go back here

Great table, friendly server. Food for two guests came out simultaneously. Other entree came out 11 minutes later. No explanation.
I had a great time. Peaceful atmosphere, delicious food, and great service. I definitely recommend the blueberry cheesecake!

Our server, Avery, was terrific. She was very attentive and pleasant. Food was delicious. My filet was a little undercooked for a "medium" but I did not send it back since we were trying to leave for a concert that evening. My boyfriend's NY strip steak was overcooked. He ordered it medium rare and it came out "medium". Food quality was good and we enjoyed the rest of our meal.

I attending a wedding and reception at the location which was my first introduction to the restaurant. The food and service were so great that my wife, a few friends and myself returned the next night for dinner. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the food and service were excellent. I recommend the Filet Mignon or the Surf and Turf. Though all of the staff provided top notch service and treated us very well, I have give a big thanks to James for for his accommodations and for taking good care of us during our two days at the restaurant. Also, thanks to our server Alex for the service that he provided us as well. Great Job Guys. I'll be seeing you on my next trip to Charlotte.

Service was exceptional. Wine recommendation was spot on. The oyster salad and duck were yummy.
Incredible experience! My Wife and I will return. The service was excellent and the food was out of this world delicious. Made our night very special. Thank you!
James and his staff always do an outstanding job. So very customer oriented. Thanks to all. Rosa was our waitstaff and did a wonderful job. We look forward to Bernadin's whenever we get the chance to dine there
I love this place! I am so happy we found it. (Make sure to park in the green lot, they will validate). I spend a lot of time trying new places of the so-called best restaurants and so many have been overrated and disappointing but Bernadins is really a hidden gem. An eclectic meat selection gives options to all. Only negative is food while tasty and seasoned well is not always as hot as it could be. Even so, one of my favorite places in the city.
