Bernardin's Restaurant At Ratcliffe

Alex at the bar and our wonderful table server(forgot her name, from Cuba) were both excellent. The food and menu options were unbelievable. We ordered so much because we couldn't make up our minds. Was disappointed it wasn't crowded. People don't know what they are missing!

Everything was wonderful. The Red Curry Barramundi special was the best curry dish I've ever had! Definitely needs to be added to the standard menu!!

This was our second time at Bernadins. I will have to say we are glad we gave it a second chance. It was a little awkward at the entrance as no one was there. We had to go from that area, which is separate from the dining area, to find someone that could help with our reservation. The menu was much improved, and they had a separate fixed price menu for the evening, we chose the fixed price menu and both of our selections were great. The desserts were out of this world, creme brulee and chocolate cake with ice cream and strawberries. A reasonable price, great service and delicious food!

My experience was great overall. This was my first time eating here and I will return for the same great experience. My family and I loved the food and service. The restaurant was clean, staff were polite and atmosphere was noise free. This was a A+ for me and no one will be disappointed.

I recently attended a private party at your establishment, but unfortunately, the service fell far short of my expectations. One of the servers assigned (Manager James) to our event seemed more focused on socializing with the guests than providing attentive and respectful service.
Specifically, I observed the server being rude to some of the female guests and drinking with the guests, which compromised their professionalism. This behavior not only made some of our guests feel uncomfortable but also reflected poorly on the restaurant.
I hope you take these concerns seriously and take necessary steps to ensure your staff provides exceptional service, especially at private events where hosts expect a high level of attention to detail.

The food is fresh and delicious with plenty of options for all! The service is one of a kind that will keep me coming back. From the warm greeting from Olivia when you open the door to the special attention from James, makes you feel like you are home! This is my new fav in Charlotte!

What is going on there? The filet and the fish were way overcooked. The fish was dry and the filet was well done and not medium as requested. Presentation was good. But…

Asked for the manager when we were waiting for our check.

The manager was a no show to the table and we waited quite a while. Have no idea why they didn’t stop by the table.

Paid, tipped well, and left.

Our daughter reviewed them and received a snarky response from someone there. So none of us will return. Too many better restaurants.

I have never spent $200 to have overcooked halibut. My friend and I had that and it was dry and her husband had the fillet. It was also overcooked from the temp he requested. Very disappointing.

Apps and entrees were okay- dessert was presented as Minute Maid sorbet (eh), our server was nice but we were celebrating getting married that day and our only ask was a booth. They stuck us upstairs at a small table alone in a corner (a few lights out) by the restrooms. When we arrived, staff was congregating and sitting together at the bar. When we left, staff was sitting there still congregating and sitting at the bar. Overall, disappointing. Likely won't return.

Always a favorite for dinner, this was my first time for lunch but will not be my last. Everything was perfect. Very thoughtful & helpful waitstaff. Great food. Quiet so our party could talk.

2nd experience here & both times a 5 star evening! Thank you Daniella (1st visit) & Allison (2nd visit)! The food is outstanding here.. best Salmon ever & the Ahi tuna was excellent..the dining room is lovely, we were there for an early dinner & it was quiet..my new favorite spot! ♥️

Food was excellent. Well taken care of by server. The Bar needs attention. Basically a mixed drink bar - need selections of bourbons and rums for those that like their drinks "neat". Only rum selections were Bacardi and Captain Morgan??? I would go back for the food only.

Love Bernardin's but this time I decided to go with something different then my normal chicken piccata or salmon. I ended up getting the Cajun chicken sandwich and the fries was overcooked i cannot eat it. I posted pics
