Best Impressions Caterers was absolutely perfect for our wedding in April at Carolina Country Weddings! We couldn't be happier with their service. Everyone at the wedding was talking about how good the food was! And the food was excellent. We got to do a full tasting prior to the event to select our options, which was super enjoyable. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Best Impressions Catering for our wedding, which was held at one of their stunning venues, VanLandingham Estate — and we are still blown away by how incredible everything was. From the very beginning, Nikki, the venue manager, was an absolute gem. She guided us through every step of the planning process with so much care and attention to detail. From helping us choose the perfect menu to something as small (but important!) as picking our tablecloth colors, Nikki made sure we felt confident in every decision.
She also had such thoughtful, creative ideas to help us stay within our budget without ever compromising our vision. Her calm and experienced presence made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and even fun. I walked away from every meeting with her way more confident with my wedding decisions.

On the day of the wedding, the service from the entire Best Impressions team was next level! The wait staff and bartenders were so warm and friendly — they truly felt like part of the celebration. One of my favorite memories is seeing them rocking the sunglasses we had set out as props — by the end of the night, they were dancing right alongside us and brought such great energy to the evening.

And of course, the food! We’re still getting compliments from guests — especially about the pasta and the mini crab cakes. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and served with such professionalism.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Nikki, Best Impressions, and VanLandingham Estate. They played such a huge role in making our day perfect, and we’re so grateful for everything they did to bring our wedding to life.

I got married at Founders Hall March 2025 and worked with Best Impressions in the planning of this event. Our events were multi-cultural, incorporated many dietary restrictions, and had several moving parts. Over the course of the 12 months of planning, to say that Best Impressions was professional and pleasant to work with would be an understatement. They went above and beyond to answer our endless questions, accommodate our many requests, and adjust details to give us the weekend of our dreams. Abby and Savanna were such a joy to work with and I cannot refer this organization, or the venues they represent enough! If you're planning an event with BI, you are in amazing hands!

Best Impressions was such a pleasure to work with! We had our wedding at The Revelry and everything was fabulous, from the customer service with Crystal to the food, logistics, and everything in between. So many people have continued to talk about how good the food was, especially the salad! We had the most amazing time and can't thank them all enough!

I worked with Best Impression Caterers this past weekend on an event of 50+ people, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. They brought our Italian Menu to life, and got the Italian stamp of approval on all of the pasta and other dishes we requested. The food was truly great! Best Impressions was absolutely fantastic for our wedding earlier this month. Not only was Crystal SO helpful throughout the planning process – always reachable and willing to make updates to the menu, but she was also incredible on the day of our event. Our florist showed up about an hour before our ceremony with very few flowers, and left shortly thereafter without setting anything up. Crystal came outside to where we were taking pre-ceremony photos, let us know of the hiccup, and already had a gameplan set up. She recommended pushing our ceremony back a bit to let our remaining vendors work magic in the ceremony and reception space and she immediately had her servers bringing out cocktail hour bites and cocktails to our guests that had already started arriving. Her ability to immediately pivot and start cocktail hour before the ceremony was a gamechanger. Our guests had no idea there was even an issue and loved having a bite and cocktail before the ceremony started! All throughout the night, Crystal was always nearby and made sure to personally check in on not only myself and my husband, but also our parents to ensure everyone had what they needed. Aside from Crystal being an amazing point of contact, the food was incredible! We received so many compliments about the food – specifically the sea bass and perfectly cooked steak! Our wedding was about 3 weeks ago now, and we are still getting compliments about the stellar food and personable staff. We cannot recommend Best Impressions enough!

If you're using Best Impressions, it's probably because they are your only option at your venue, as no one would choose this company on their own. As such, they have an uncontested monopoly to mistreat their customers without repercussions. So, if you are stuck using them, do yourself a favor and request NOT to work with Nikki Hansen. Not only did this senior person at the company misplace our bill, she was so rude as to call and threaten to cancel our wedding 2 days before the event. Unreal customer service, and the entire situation had to be escalated to the president of the company. Save yourself some headache and just request to work with someone else if you're stuck working with this terrible and irresponsible company. Good luck!

Best Impressions is a go-to caterer for a reason. Its team is so kind, communicative and professional. Our wedding guests were so complimentary of the food, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!

Where do I start? Best Impression Caterers hosted an event at The Revelry North End for our industry organization CEDIA and I was one of the displaying vendors for this line show. After the successful and professional event I staged my 4 packages to be picked up by FedEx. FedEx missed the pickup window. So started fits and starts to get my packages to the next line show in Oakland CA. 6 days and too many failed pickups, return shipments to mention. I live on the west coast so was dealing with 3 hour time zone difference to-boot. First I was helped by Abby then handed off to Savanna seamlessly. She was amazing receiving wave after wave of shipping labels she had to print out and tape to the packages...multiple times. I just got notified the mission was a success, packages picked up for Express shipping by FedEx and with a little luck, they will arrive at the Oakland Airport Hilton tomorrow mid-day. The catering? Anyone who is lucky enough to hire and work with an organization that they are a part of are lucky because of their attention to customer satisfaction and follow-through are what motivation speakers talk about during seminars! Well done and my profound thanks!

Best impressions catered our wedding and we were so impressed with the results. Prior to the wedding communicating with best impressions was so easy and the tasting process was such much fun. Our guests on the wedding day kept coming up to us raving about the food saying it was the best they have had at a wedding. We highly recommend them and our thankful to have had them on our wedding day!

Abby was a dream to work with. She was very kind and patient to me with all my 900+ questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use Best Impressions again and again. The filet & crab cake was delish. My guests loved everything that was served!
