Billy Jack's Shack - Charlotte NoDa

This place is amazing. The food was top-notch. The waitress was attentive and prompt. It felt like a dive bar. I recomend!

Wanted to try out a new burger place and decided to go here! Sooo yummy and very satisfying! Staff was friendly and the environment inside is great.

Went with my daughter and had about the best burger EVER!! Tasty selections - get the extra secret sauce on the side.

I've been to a Jack Brown's before but somehow this Jack Brown's was like no other. Walking in you get the same atmosphere, beer selection, and fantastic food that you have come to love and at this point expect from Jack Brown's. Then out of no where comes Sadie! She appears with a water for everyone in our group right after we sat down on the outside covered patio area. Some in the group had never been and she was able to recommend beers and burgers and sticky nuggs and so much more that were fantastic. Sadie was like the Lorax of beer, the second one was finished she appeared to get you another. She somehow managed to do all this without being overbearing or annoying either! Not only that but as we were simply visiting Charlotte we asked about brunch recommendations and once again Sadie has out done herself. She lists all kinds of places, describes the food, the cost, the vibe, the drinks, really just anything and everything you would want to make a decision. Once you think this fantastic night had come to an end Sadie brought out Nelly to get us some more recommendations of breweries, bars, and restaurants that we had to hit before our trip was to end. Neither Sadie nor Nelly provided a single recommendation that we didn't love! In my opinion both Sadie and Nelly are the epitome of what customer service could ever dream of being! (perhaps a raise may be in order). And of course to finish our trip we did go back to jack browns to get some much needed food to help us feel better in the morning!

Awesome burgers in a friendly bar/grill with lots of character. The Greg Brady might sound weird with mac n cheese and BBQ chips on it, but it is a standout! The saucy chicken nugs are also stellar.

We love stopping here when we’re in Charlotte visiting family. Glad to see the sticky nuggs are back!

i’d give it 0 stars if i would:( me and my friends walked in (a 5 top) and no one greeted us for the longest. it seemed like they would avoid eye contact in order to not be able to serve us. it was weird. we eventually had to flag someone down after waiting for 15 minutes (which is weird bc it was seat yourself). i told one of the other servers that i felt like our server didn't like us, and she chalked it up to them being busy earlier so she must have been tired; but i also work in the industry, so that is no excuse unfortunately! it seemed highly racial motivated, which i have never seen before in a restaurant. i was super disappointed. all we wanted were fries.

The burgers are so good! Inspired my husband to fire up the Blackstone and whip up his own jalapeno jelly. Thank-you for that, we'll be returning for more inspo.! A fun atmosphere with great service

Only sell burgers and they don't cok to temp.

The service at Billy Jacks was amazing. Ever since they changed to Jack Beagles, it is such trash. They make the menu 1/8 of the size , only serving hamburgers, and it takes 30 minutes for them to come out… ridiculous. It’s not even busy at the time that this slow service is happening. This place won’t last compared to the other Jack Browns in business with amazing service. Management should get their staff in check ASAP.

Came to get Shocker sticky nugs. Nope only burgers now. Closed and went to Jack Beagles. Server was sweet, wasn’t her fault

This place was famous for sticky nugs and Mac bites… now they only have burgers. Terrible!! Bring back the staples!
