The pizza (my opinion) was pretty predictable. Obviously on busy nights - there’s a bit of an expected wait and appears popular. A righteous pie- Just a little disappointed with the hype - but that’s not their fault at all.

Best pizza in Charlotte. Getting a reservation is very difficult because the restaurant is very small but the atmosphere is great. They allow a few walk ins but we got there at 5:20 on Friday night and there was a small line waiting for walk ins. The Kale Cesar Salad is terrific. I usually skip salads but this one is worth it. Large portion. Great for sharing. We got the Best White and OG pizza. The best white is fantastic for cheese lovers and has great onions. The OG is spicy in the best way, flavors are exceptional, best pizza. 2 pizzas is more than enough for 2 people. Plenty of leftovers. Reservations are strictly 90 minutes and you will be forced out at the time. Overall definitely worth it

I’ve been to Bird Pizzeria in Charlotte three times now, and every single visit has been incredible. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with obvious care — easily some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The service is just as impressive; everyone there is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to enjoy what they do. We had a great time dining in. Having a reservation was great. I enjoyed the kale salad very much and it is something I would definitely go back for. The OG pizza had good flavor too, but the cheese texture was too chewy for my taste. The hot honey is also a great addition.

Solid pizza but not worth the wait. Have ordered carry out much in advance 3 times and order was late by 20+ minutes from scheduled pick up time each time. If you have the time to drive to ballantyne, just go to finale instead. Better product. On time every time. Would recommend giving dine in a chance if you go to bird

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere! I loved the Kale Caesar and the Best White Pizza. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we arrived early at 6 pm, and they seated our party of two immediately, as the next reservation for that table was at 7 pm. If they can accommodate you as a walk-in, there might be a time limit if a reservation is scheduled for the table, which both the hostess and server should inform you about.

This is probably the best pizza in charlotte. But in many cases not worth the unpredictable service. I’ve ordered from here three times now, each time a week in advance since theyre so busy. I have yet to get my pizza within 15 min of when i ordered it for. Last week i ordered for 5:45PM, and my pizza was ready at 6:30PM, without one of the three toppings i ordered. With people ordering so far in advance and them limiting how many pizzas are ordered at each time i dont understand how they remain understaffed and unable to fill orders close to when theyre ordered for.
Honestly, the pizza is fine but not worth the wait or the hassle.

Having to wait 3 months for a reservation is insane but the white pizza was decent i was not of fan of the kale Cesar salad lacked flavor. It is a very small place the staff was friendly.

CAN YOU PLEASE PUT A SIGN OUTSIDE TO TELL PEOPLE WHERW TO GONFOR DINING IN???? There’s no sign and the windows and door covered with curtains! We ended up ordering online and sitting outside eating out of a box.
