Taste: Enjoyed the classic Catawba White Zombie Ale and the Catawba White Zombie Apricot. Both had a citrus flavor and were light. Very solid beers and pretty easy drinking. My buddy and I also really like their King Cake brew, which was not on tap unfortunately last night, but it is a dark beer. Typically, I'm not a huge fan of dark beer, but this has by far been my favorite. Service: Helpful and offered samples. Order the brew at the counter and go sit. Atmosphere: Had all of the March Madness games on with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors/stacked with TV's! Dog-friendly outdoors! Cleanliness: No issues at all Overall: Will certainly be back to watch more March Madness games and even on-going! Would be a fun spot during football season!

I really loved this brewery! It's not often that when you go to a brewery that offers so many different types of brews, you find many that you really like. The place is large with plenty of tables inside as well as outside. Great prices and great selections.

Our favorite spot! Can't say enough good things about the staff & the drink options! Large brewery with great seating options inside & out. Dogs are permitted in the outdoor seating area, as well as a room off to the side (I believe). They do have a kitchen (think sandwiches & such) if you get hungry! Trivia nights are always fun! Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

Stopped in for a quick beer before grabbing dinner. We love Catawba Brewing already... who doesn't love the classic White Zombie!? Nice selection of guest taps, and awesome staff who were ready to offer up suggestions! Very relaxed environment... inside and outside seating. Plenty of socially distant space!

Ok so I’m not sure why this place only has one review so far- maybe because it’s new? But this was by far some of the best bar food I’ve had in a long time!!!! I had the chicken flatbread and the buffalo chicken tot waffle, both were AMAZING! Can’t wait to come back to the Catawba brewing co and try their other items!

Loving this set up during covid times. They have a huge tent outside with at least a dozen tables more than six feet apart. Beer is great as usual too!

I found a brewery that feels like home. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, even being patient when my card wasn't working and I had to run to the ATM to take out cash. The PBJ and sour raspberry are my favorite brews! Additionally, I can't *not* love a brewery that hosts The JAM CLT dance classes! P.S. So many patio puppies!

This restaurant is located inside Catawba Brewing and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! We ordered the Brewmeister Pretzel with White Zombie Beer cheese, the Buffalo Chicken flatbread, and the Loaded Tot Waffle. There is nothing critical I can say about their food. Each bite was so delicious and better than we thought it would be.It was difficult picking from the menu so we cannot wait to go back and try something else. The food also came out quickly so we didnt need to wait around that long. Even if you did have to wait, you can enjoy a Catawba beer. :)Highly recommend this place.

Food was amazing! It was a large enough portion for two adults to eat off of for two meals. Will definitely be back for more!

This is my go-to brewery. Why? Great beer, huge space, incredible owners AND I can walk to it. Christian and I are at Catawba about twice a week. I love the staff here, everyone is so nice. Peanut Butter Jelly time is one of my all-time favorite beers. I am always here for release day (gotta get a flight to try all the variations) and grab some four packs to take home. Evening Joe and El Gato are some other favs. There is now a restaurant operating inside the brewery, Blue Fork. I've only had the pretzel, so I can't say much about the food yet. Note: because of the kitchen, dogs are not allowed inside the taproom now. Don't worry dog owners, there is an indoor space off the main taproom and of course the patio. They also have a great event space that is pretty versatile and works for several special occasions. I've seen everything from workout classes to even a wedding happen here.

Really enjoyed our time at Blue Fork even with my 3 year old! Great to find a kid friendly spot to hang out! Food was fresh and enjoyed the atmosphere. Friendly staff, great location and onsite parking are all pluses! Go visit!

My friends and I shared a few different flatbreads. They were all great but the brisket flatbread is my absolute favorite! Awesome food and great beer, excited to try more!

You can rent a sectioned area for special events. It comes with a tv in case you want to do presentation or just have background slide shows. Gotta say, it was a bit cold in the room on a rainy January. This is a family friendly brewery. They do have a bunch of games to pick from and play. But if you were planning to do that, I would suggest bringing your own games since all the good ones are always taken, and some games have missing parts (people don't return the games in the same conditions). Plenty of beer options split between two bars. Everyone is super nice and will help you pick and sample whatever you want.

My first time checking out Catawba Brewing was because my friend had a birthday so we decided to come on up and see her! I'm glad that we did as well, because the party that was held here was pretty awesome. Her boyfriend reserved a small section of the brewery and it was perfect. Catawba has 2 bars when you walk in. I walked in from the street side where the garage doors are. When you turn left (from the garage doors) you see two bars, one on the left and a very long one on the right. In the back wall there's a place where you can get food. I mainly just went to one bar, and the bartender would go to the other bar if the beer wasn't on the tap at that specific bar. Don't be shy to ask for trying out their multiple styles of beer. I stuck to the coffee ale, because it sounded interesting and usually beers that tend to the coffee flavor are usually dark beers but this one was an ale so I tried it. It was good! I liked it, wasn't too heavy and there was just a slight hint of coffee flavor. The other beers that I drank were porters, of course this was right up my alley. Overall, it's a great space which featured a variety of beers. I saw that there were a lot of families here and it seems that this place is just now a family friendly brewery. It makes sense with all the board games. I would definitely recommend Catawba to beer lovers and like to have a lot of space to meet up with friends and play games!

One of my favorite breweries in Charlotte and only 5 minutes from the house between Uptown and Plaza Midwood. Free fairly good size parking lot is a real plus. Inside is big and open. Two bars (both with seating), a long main one in the rear and a smaller L shaped bar near the front with large openings to the outside patio - can order from inside/outside bar areas. Plenty of small, medium and large tables throughout. The beer selection is great, from White Zombie which Catawba is known for to IPA's and a variety of rotating small batch selections. Normally there is a food truck as well outside if you are hungry. My favorite is the Friki Tiki juicy IPA but many other good selections to chose, highly recommend!!
