Blue Orchid Sushi & Asian Bistro

We were really looking forward to enjoying some good hibachi and sushi for my birthday. It could’ve been a random occurrence, but the food was mediocre at best. I rarely ever leave reviews, but decided to after our experience. The hibachi vegetables tasted freezer burned and the portion size was very small. The eggs in the fried rice had too much pepper. 5 people (2 adults, 3 children) and our bill was $165 (after the automatic, 20% gratuity). Our server was nice, but we are disappointed to say that we won’t return.

I also come to this place for the hibachi as it is a decent price and great portion. The flavors are wonderful and I live their shrimp sauce! I always substitute some of the veggies as I am picky and they always get it correctly.

I've also tried their steak hibachi, katsu, tempura and everything has been delicious. The quality and food has been very consistent. The restaurant itself is pretty small and you walk in and grab a menu and pick a seat. The staff is always the same few people. The food comes out quickly and everyone is very friendly, highly recommend! A bonus is that they are right next to a Sweet Frogs and across from a Walmart! Sounds like a great place to run some arrands, eat and grab a sweet treat 😉

The tonkotsu ramen with grilled chicken is amazing!!! The broth is rich and super flavorful and the ingredients are fresh! I ordered take out and it came out super fast! The customer service is top tier as well...staff was super friendly. I can't wait to go back and try the sushi!

We had dinner here while passing through. It was so yummy! I picked a few different sushi rolls and my husband had the udon. We also tried the miso and dumpling soup for appetizer. The service was fast and friendly, which made it even better all around. Highly recommend!

Family friendly, cozy , clean, great service, good food. I wish I took more pictures but I was enjoying myself so much I forgot. We live close by and it will be a new favorite. We were pleasantly surprised, for sure!

It was bad honestly bad I didn’t want to finish my food !!! The hibachi vegetables are raw and cold the sushi has more sauce than it has rise I would never go again and their prices are higher than popular sushi places

Genuinely not sure how this place has such high ratings and how it was so busy. Was craving sushi and came here with a few people. We all split a handful of different rolls and were so excited. All the rolls were drenched in soy sauce so you couldn’t even taste the fish and it was hard to tell a difference between any of the rolls even though we made sure to pick out different ones. We were disappointed in the sushi and left feeling unsatisfied. Service was good but doesn’t make up for the fact that if you’ve ever had really good sushi this place is a downer. The sushi chef asked how we liked the sushi and we were honest- he was surprised to say the least. But then again, seems like all the takeout orders and people around us kept ordering fried rice not sushi

Better food than you would expect from a strip mall eatery. No alcohol sales at restaurant but you can bring your own alcohol in with you.
