Maybe I was in too big of a hurry buy EVERYTHING burnt my mouth on this trip. Even the honey pepper syrup. Like gd. I probably won't come back to this location but I won't let that bs ruin my love for the restaurant.

How tf do you get the syrup THAT hot? Did microwave it for 2 mins or something? Legit like lava. That's ridiculous. The server was alright though. Just not the cook on this particular day.

Literally only people in the restaurant and couldn't get a refill on a glass of water or someone to come take our money so we could get back on the road. Finally had to leave cash by the register after standing there 15 minutes

Not sure if we came on a bad day? They were not busy at all, yet it took almost an hour to get our food. Then my food was wrong, completely different meal than I ordered. They remade it quickly which was nice. As we waited for the remake of my food, we suddenly smell weed? Like what is going on at this place. Also yea I agree with others, it was freezing inside. Safe to say we won’t be returning.

Very friendly fast and personable service. Talked with both the waitress and the cook and both were just so nice. The food was delicious and the portions were super generous. Also the biscuits were amazing. Miss places like this and wish there were more of them closer to where I live.

Big mistake to walk over from hotel to Bob Evans restaurant, first it’s 53 degrees outside & somehow it’s colder inside the restaurant, must have been 48 degrees or less,
Frost on the table tops, only a few patrons inside & they of course are bundled up.
I order the steak tips… with potato & broccoli, took way way to long to get the order to me; must have been 20 mins or so,
And steak tips were charbroiled, way over cooked; most were downright burnt.
I dug around to get the ones that weren’t extra crispy, waitress walks around aimlessly, didn’t return to ask how I liked the meal or to provide a refill,
So I just paid my meal & tried to tell her the steak tips were burnt as I was paying,
She basically ignored me, as she was asking if I was paying with cash or card,
So I repeated my complaint, and had to verbally ask… did you hear me???
To which she was dismissive, no apology, no let me discount the meal or how can we make it right, nothing,
Just that she would tell the manager.
I knew that Bob Evans wasn’t great,
But this was extremely poor service &
Worst meal prep quality that is unacceptable.

Michelle at Bob Evans on Statesville Rd (she usually works at the one in Huntersville) was wonderful. The food was hot and tasty and the service was great. I will return.

Other than our server, Yennifer, being amazing, service at this establishment is terrible. We walked in about 11:45 on a Sunday morning. It seemed as if they had been busy but not when we walked in.

There was no one at the host stand to greet us. We waited 10-15 mins for someone to finally seat us - greeting us with a rag in her hand and “How many?”

Once seated, we waited another 10-15 mins before being greeted and order taken. The only thing that saved our experience was the personality of our server. She was actually not our assigned server but realized we hadn’t been greeted.

Food was mediocre. Pancakes were not good at all.

No sense of urgency, other than food came out in a decent amount of time.

Why did you send me country style steak that was obviously hours old? I can't eat this, it's like leather. If you don't make this right I'm disputing this purchase with my bank. I'm not paying for food that I can't eat!
