Food is usually good and staff is usually on point but for the past two visits the service hasn’t been the same. I tried to order the fried plantains with oxtail and the cook told the server that he couldn’t make the order of plantains because he was too busy smh. What kind of attitude is that?! I would understand that you don’t have the item in the kitchen but to simply not make an order because you were too “busy”?.. I ended up going somewhere else… C’mon Bohio...
I have to say, Authenticity shows and the food is always good!! They have these pickled onions, I have to get them every time I come!! This is the only place I've ever had them and they are AMAZING 👏
I love everything about this restaurant!! Cafeteria style dominican food! So fresh and tasty. We drive from shelby to charlotte just to eat here! Gives my husband a little feeling of home.
