Food/value:
I dined in and ordered the sesame chicken, there was one piece of chicken that was cooked perfectly, the rest was tough and chewy.
I ordere egg rolls which were barely warm so asked to replace with spring rolls which were hot but overall nothing seemed fresh which for the price I guess was fine.

We were highly disappointed in the service and the food as well . Server was very inattentive and restaurant was not busy . Food was terrible chicken.was shocking sliced deli meat which you put in pot I've never boiled deli.meat in my life in addition oysters were brought with shrimp frozen. Solid unbelievable. Atmosphere was dreary windows were flithy I cannot imagine ever returning to this place.

SMH.. I needed a couple packs of duck sauce. I figured I’d stop otw home to buy a spring roll or crab Rangoon so that I could get some packs of duck sauce. GPS shows China Gogo something and another is on my route. I arrive and I don’t see it. Where I assume it should be has papers taped to the door saying NEXT DOOR etc., pointing to THE BOILING POT. I enter this establishment, I first notice large containers of mustard, soy and duck sauce. Upon entry, the male employee immediately starts backing away although he was at the counter when I entered. That didn’t bother me much, I said I’ll just look at the menu till the female employee arrives. I go to grab what I thought was the menu, since they’re evenly spaced around the entire counter in what I assumed were menu holders. I go to reach and it’s some kind of bingo flyer or pamphlet (I’m not sure, I don’t partake). I go for the next one and it’s some other kind of bingo paraphernalia. Lol I guess that’s not really important but I found it super strange.
Anywho, the lady comes up to me and greets me. I pleasantly explain that I just needed some duck sauce so I was gonna grab something cheap so I could get some duck sauce to go. I assume she was not understanding, which is fine, but it led me to just ask her how much for some duck sauce. At first she sorta did the not understanding thing but she then started walking over to the register as if she was getting it. I ask twice how much for some duck sauce. She comes back over to the container and asks how many. I say just a handful (I was not prepared with a specific number of duck sauces in my head, so I may have stuttered). She asks me “20?!”
Lol I sorta giggle and say “oh no, just like a handful”. She says some other number, so I just throw a number out and say ten. She then starts walking me to the register and I ask “how much”. She began calculating, then says THREE DOLLARS. …I’m lightly taken aback, so I ask to confirm, “Three dollars!?” She’s like “yea”, starts tapping the register. I can’t say for others but $3 for ten packs of duck sauce seemed a bit extortionate. At this point, I’m thinking.. you have about 742 packs of duck sauce directly in front of you. I feel like, business wise, I would have just gave the person a handful of duck sauce and a menu, to potentially create a positive experience and invoke a return visit in the future. But who am I and what does it matter, moving on. Long story long ah, I end up just buying some crab Rangoon, and for whatever reason she decided instead of handing me my bag, to walk it wide open, go past me to the 742 duck sauces and pick mine out by 2’s. I guess she thought the first 2 was enough, so I’m like “a little more please”. She keeps playing around and I’m over this establishment by this point so I make her keep handing until I’m over ten to make sure I got my monies worth because I won’t be back. (Sn: The crab Rangoon sauce was literally all over the bag and box. I’m nearly certain this was on purpose because the sauce container was as secure as Rubbermaid or Pyrex Tupperware.. I could barely get the top off, yet there’s sauce all down the sides and on everything.. of course no napkins. Sn2: from other reviews, I see Miss thing is a little shady)
Environment was dim and dusty.. I don’t know, that could have been on purpose but I digress. There were only 2 couples there, this was at 5:00pm on a Monday. Wasn’t busy, so maybe you guys could still give them a try. I’m not overly distraught about it, but I thought it was just a wild interaction, and I’m pretty good on THE BOILING POT.

Food is good and fresh boiling pot was also very good. The blue crab and the scallops was my favorite. The boiling I think is very healthy

It iş was our first time to ate at this place and my husband was excited to try the food so he did ordered shrimp lo mien and I ordered shrimp garlic sauce when I saw the food not even try yet I knew it is not garlic sauce and it is sweet and sour sauce so I did tried and it is tasted sweet and sour so I asked my husband can you try and he did and even if him tasted same I do.So I asked the server that it is shrimp garlic sauce and she said it is and I insisted that not it is sweet and sour I always order shrimp garlic sauce at any Chinese restaurant and only this one tasted different it is sweet and sour so to be honest I wouldn’t recommend this place again I wish they corrected my order instead you see my photo..Really look like sweet and sour not garlic don’t have even one garlic in it.
