I am a newbie to eating Indian food and have only had a few dishes, chicken tika marsala being my favorite. I have only eaten Indian food from tabla, which is not too far from this place. Wanted to try a new place last night so we went here figuring it would be just as good.The inside of the restaurant is actually pretty nice, especially compared to tabla.. and our server was nice. But the pricing for the food was higher than tabla or a few other nearby Indian restaurants. My tika marsala is usually $14.99 was $17.50 here. The garlic naan was about $1.50 more here as well.But my big issue and maybe I’m wrong…. But the curry in my chicken tika marsala was bland with very little flavor or richness to it. I can only compare it how the curry tastes at tabla and the cheap microwave chicken tika Marsala you find in the frozen food section at Walmart. The curry I had last night from this place tasted exactly the same as the bland curry that comes in the frozen stuff from Walmart! Sorry but it doesn’t hold a candle to the rich spicy flavor of how this is served at tabla.I knew I messed up picking this place the moment we walked in the door. There was not a single Indian person inside eating… Whenever I go to tabla it’s usually crowded inside with Indian families eating dinner.So in conclusion I’m not saying this place is bad. It was nicely decorated and our server was nice and the food came out fairly fast, but to me the food was boring bland and lacked the taste I’m used to. And was a few dollars more per dish to boot.

This restaurant is very consistent with their quality. The flavors are excellent and the service is very friendly.
After so many recommendations on Reddit, we decided to try out this place. But alas! Not worth the hype! We really were excited to try their tandoori chicken, and it was dry to the core. No spice, no tenderness in the meat, no taste. Secondly, malai chicken kebab was a bit less dry but NO spice here too! .Being disappointed, we tried vegetarian options, Malai kofta and navratan korma, which was good and the 3 star rating is solely due to the vegetarian food that we ordered.The service was really good and the staff was courteous. Other than that, not worth the hype at all!I really don't rate anyone this low but when you go with higher expectations to the place so renowned, I expect the food quality at least at par with the reputation. I really did not get it, to be honest! Maybe next time...

Three entrees and Naan & our meal was $71…very sad about the amount received for the PRICE! The pictures online are of Dine-In, so maybe that is the ticket there. The sauces (chutney, green and yogurt) were not included. They should be! Chicken Korma and Hariyali were just ok, nothing special about it, basic. The Channa Masala was very good but we received very little. At the restaurant, there is a sign posted about how to deal with vomit and diarrhea… oh my goodness…I hope it’s a joke. I would try again, but dine-in to see if they go a bit further in person. So disappointed.

This place is an absolute gem. It's been here forever, and from the decor, you really don't expect much. The food, however...the food is AMAZING. Best Tikka Masala I've ever had. Even my ultra-picky husband went back for more. The portions are large, which makes the cost more than reasonable. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been.

I went there with my family of 5. I ordered chicken kadahi, paneer tikaa masala chicken biryani and dal taska(yellow). Chicken kadahi and paneer tikka not even close to Indian food. Tastes like I’m eating chicken and paneer with ragu sauce. No differences between Papad, tandoori Roti and garlic nan. All of them crunchy like papad. 4 stars for chicken biryani and dal tadka.

Great food, great ambiance, and a great server. I had to have the garlic naan, vegetable samosas, Chicken Biryani, and Chicken Tikka Masala. The tamarind sauce for the samosa was so delicious. I liked the Tikka Masala more than the Biryani. Everything was spicy and authentic. The level 4 spice is equal to a level 8 so proceed with caution. Also their window & website offered buffet certain times but that is incorrect. Since cvoid and the lack of staff there has been no buffet sadly.
