The food here is excellent, the service is great, Judy provided excellent attention throughout our visit. highly recommend this restaurant

Not serving any beer on tap on a Sunday and when asked about a specific canned beer immediately said they were out until seeing my disappointment and then actually looked and they had it. AC barely on inside so much so that I was sweating in the seat and I’m 5’11” 170lbs. Finally, I ordered fried rice with kimchi pork and maybe had 5 penny sized pieces of pork. Would not come back.

Impecable service and the food was AMAZING! We got popcorn shrimp, japchae, fries, Spicy Chicken, and the Seoul Platter. Everything was 10/10 but hands down their fried chicken is the best!! We definitely look foward to coming back and trying more!

I'm just going to go in and say it... I like this place.

Now I was here for a pickup, but when I walked in the greeter met me with a smile. Not trying to be controversial, just honest, but as a black man we don't receive much positive emotional response from the Asian community in service. I mean it just is what it is.. but that's why this interaction felt more positive than the norm. Shoot I don't even know if it was accidental or not but I appreciate it LOL.

The atmosphere gives restaurant / bar. OK Google places you can watch some TV while you snack as well as take your family

They have a decent variety of Korean selections for you to choose from when picking your meal. Krefer to the menu in the photos). Their prices are fair as well.

All in all, This is a place that I would recommend you visit if you want to try some Korean food.

I’m coming from Florida and I’m here visiting my family in Charlotte. We don’t have a Bonchon close to me, and it’s my favorite restaurant so we went there yesterday. My server was Hee Jin, and let me just start by saying she was wonderful. Her service was excellent, she was very funny, kind, and agreeable. The food was also great, as expected. Overall I would say definitely come to this Bonchon, everytime I have been to this specific location I have had an excellent experience, and Hee Jin definitely made it better!

This was my first time at Bonchon Woodlawn, and I was so impressed. The food was amazing—crispy, flavorful Korean fried chicken that definitely lived up to the hype. But what really stood out was how fantastic the service was.

The servers here are some of the best I’ve ever had—friendly, attentive, and always on point. From greeting you with a smile to checking in just the right amount without feeling rushed, they make you feel genuinely welcome. They’re knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations if you’re not sure what to try (though you really can’t go wrong with the soy garlic wings!).

Whether you’re dining in or picking up takeout, the staff at Bonchon Woodlawn go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. I highly recommend it—come hungry and leave happy!

The food was amazing. I got a small order of mixed wings with two different sauces and takoyaki. The takoyaki was easily my favorite. The wings were crispy and the portion was big for a small, which I appreciate. I’ll definitely be coming back to try other stuff.

I give 5 stars because the food is delicious. It's not Bonchon's fault it was too spicy & the corn dog too crispy. I'm just old and weak. lol
The coleslaw is deep South delicious and the rice helped pad my meal.
We will return because my son loves my leftovers.

Had Korean Fried Chicken and bibimbap. The fried chicken was good. Tried two sauces and they were both great. The bibimbap was just not it. Usually I enjoy it. This had an interesting smell. Even the texture of the rice as well as the chicken was not doing it for me.
The service was good. Ample parking space in the complex. It was not too crowded.
