Brazwells Premium Pub Ballantyne

Seems to be hit or miss. I've been there before with my coworkers and received delicious burgers and drinks, but also had experiences where they messed up my order or took 20 minutes to bring someone their drink.

Great place to grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff is always friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. ****Update April 2018**** Place used to be great but now new waitstaff every week and this kitchen is sooooooo SLOW Orders routinely take 30-45 minutes to come out. New managers are not as friendly as the old ones were. Hope they get back to what they used to be.

UPDATE: BELOW: ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unlike most Ballantyne restaurants, the staff can be a bit iffy. The rooftop is nice but expect 30 to 45-minute wait for anything you order other than a beverage UPDATE: Went for breakfast on 3/31/2018, sat on the rooftop. Ordered the 2 egg breakfast. 30 minutes later breakfast arrived.....NO EGGS, NO ONIONS IN THE POTATOES. My wife's omelette arrives with NO TOAST. 30 minutes later a new plate arrives with eggs and sausage...... 10 minutes later a "manager" with dirt stained pants comes to the table and asks, "is that better for you?" Maintaining civilityI merely responded Yes. That was the worse table touch by a manager I have ever had. No apology, no acknowledgements of the issues. A very arrogant question as if it was my fault, "is that better for you". He needs to learn how to lead his crew, run a kitchen and learn customer service. How can he expect customer service from the staff when he shows such a poor attitude? This reflects poor leadership and the service is suffering because of it. The servers are trying but unguided and suffering from a lack of coordination between management and employees, between back of the house and front of the house, between customers and the business. Pathetic.

Overall a decent place for a bite. They have a nice rooftop bar that is quite popular. I have been here twice but only found the food to be just OK. Service, while friendly, was lacking the second time visiting. Despite not being all that busy, we had very infrequent visits from our server and ended up waiting a while after our meal. I would have understood more had the place been jumping, but it was rather quiet considering it was the lunch rush.

Brazwells is a great weekend spot with a nice patio and usually good drink specials. On Saturdays and Sundays they have a really nice $4 Bloody Mary bar and $2 Mimosas. Usually pretty busy during sports. Good place to get appetizers, wings, drinks. Food is good, but service is always just okay. Parking can be hit or miss because it such a small area with a lot of places to eat. This is one of the “funner” places in Ballantyne.
