Great food! I haven’t found another place in the area with better fried seafood. It’s always fresh and seasoned just right. It’s a little pricey however, for the amount of food you get it is fair.

It's always a good experience. Food is fresh, people are nice! It's a family feel for sure and I love that! They even have a system where you earn points for future discounts. No complaints here!

Can only go by my experience from calling first and then arriving. Called to inquire about catfish filets and the man who answered sounded very bothered that I was asking. Since it was the day before Thanksgiving, I specifically asked if they were closing and same gentleman said “No, they close at 7pm.”

I arrived at 6:20pm, and the door was locked and I gentleman came to the door and said they are closed. I proceeded to explain I called earlier about catfish filets and was told they were not closing early. This gentleman states they have already closed everything down and cannot sell anything, as they closed at 6pm.

I don’t know how their food is here, and unfortunately will never find out.

I’m from the coastal part of NC where seafood is extremely fresh, so I’m hesitant about purchasing seafood in Charlotte. My coworker recommended this location to me I thought I would give them a try.

Customer service is extremely important no matter the business.

I’m not even upset about them closing early-it’s the day before Thanksgiving; that’s why I CALLED.

For someone to sound bothered that I’m calling and then when I appear based on said call and their business hours online….I will be gladly to continue to support the small seafood businesses in Eastern NC and transport my seafood in my cooler.

The food tasted great and service was excellent. They were very accommodating and friendly. I only waited about 10 minutes for my food. Environment was very clean. I will be back!

Small spot ran by down home folk. Good seafood. I really like that they don't rely on heavy breading when it comes to their fish.

Great customer service , from the father and son, all-around great staff. I always engage in conversation with the dad. The fish is phenomenal, cooked, and frozen . The owner which is Bryant had me try the seafood salad, never in my life had I had something that was so amazing. Thank you all for your service in the community it is greatly appreciated 👏🏾

It may have been a bad day to purchase a fish meal. They had limited staff, but they tried to make up for the lack with a free item. The fish wasn't as fresh as I thought it would be and was lacking in flavor. The hush puppies were good. I purchased croaker. My husband ordered the whiting. We were not happy with the fish. The fried okra was excellent, the French fries, and hush puppies too. The portion size is not what I would expect for the price of the meal.

Parking: You can generally find parking close to the fish market.

This has to be THE BESTTTTTT seafood I’ve had in Charlotte since I moved from Michigan. LJ, Shanda, Jas made sure my food was fresh. The flounder and whiting was seasoned to perfection.

Today's food was some really good food. I ordered the shrimp plater that came with a dozen large shrimp that were lightly battered well seasoned and had a nice crunch to them. If you've had shrimp from a national chain restaurant, you get lots of breading small shrimp and from what I remember maybe 6 shrimp. Not here though! The platter came with fries, hushpuppies, and coleslaw. The fries were lightly seasoned with what tasted to me like old bay spice. They were freshly made crispy and had great flavor. I usually stay away from coleslaw because it's either to sweet or just doesn't taste that great. After talking with Wayne I went ahead and gave it a try. It had good flavor tasted fresh and I liked it enough to wish I had a tad bit more. The hushpuppies weren't greasy and also had good taste. Wayne almost convinced me to try the seafood platter but after eating the shrimp platter I'm sure it would have been more than what I could eat. I got an aoli dipping sauce which had a little but of spiciness to it but paired well with the shrimp. It was a little tangy as well. I ordered a banana pudding for my fiancé and I had some of it. Although it wasn't my favorite it was still good. While waiting for my food Wayne and I talked about football among other things. He's very personable and nice which made the wait pleasant. Bottom line guys if you want some freshly cooked seafood this is the place to go! I certainly will visit again to try the fried fish I'm sure it'll be just as good as the shrimp. Oh this is a to go only establishment.

My suga Kim put me on and so glad she did. Food AMAZING, service STELLAR, and atmosphere is clean. You can get fresh or cooked seafood. This place is a gem and I’m looking forward to my next visit ;).
