Everybody from the owner to the servers are great and make you feel at home. The owner is so entertaining himself. Great fodder environment and we always stop and eat at Bubba;s every time we are in Charolette. We give a 5 star rating.
Happened upon this quaint BBQ restaurant on a visit to see our daughter in Charlotte. Happily so. Atmosphere was spot on vintage southern welcoming restaurant. Food was home made deliciousness. Best of all, Bubba (the owner) himself was delightfully charming, with quirky humor, & lots of interesting information. Do yourself a favor, stop in the next chance you get. You won't regret it. We'll definitely be back!!!
Had a work appointment nearby and my colleague, familiar with the area, took me here.
The food was outstanding (had the Brisket plate) sides of green beans and some awesome Mac n Cheese - Loved how each plate comes with hush puppies too.
But the best part of the experience was the owner Bubba/Ralph - coming by to chat with us. This guy should do stand up comedy. He was hilarious with his dead panned / dry sense of humor! Really made it memorable.
