I love Burtons. For a family with food allergies, this restaurant group is a dream. This location was in the cutest shopping center, the decor inside was lovely. Service was fantastic. Chocolate cake for dessert was divine.

Very good drinks, not too strong, definitely not watered down.
Appetizers... very, very good. The calamari is the best in Charlotte, bar none. The bread service is lacking in the amount of dips, they wait staff will bring more ! The bread is truly the star here.
Specials... ok, here is the Achilles heel. I am not a huge fan of their ability to create good specials.
Entree: This is where they shine, stayed on the menu and you will have a great meal. The mashed potatoes are surprisingly very good. The green beans are basically raw, this is neither a good or bad issue, just a heads up.

This place is amazing, especially if you're gluten-free. Their entire menu is GF or can be made GF. After 10 years of trying to find good places to eat with more than a few options, stumbling upon this place was a treasure. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I cannot wait to return to Charlotte so I can visit again. If you are planning on eating here, you'll want to make a reservation early because they fill up quickly!

’m writing this review because my stomach is still hurting after eating at this restaurant yesterday. I don’t usually have stomach problems, but right after eating here I started to feel unwell. I didn’t eat anything else after my meal at the restaurant, and I only had a light breakfast at home before going there, so I’m 100% sure it came from their food.
I ordered a gluten-free burger, fried calamari, and a Key Lime dessert. My family ordered different dishes and they all felt fine — I was the only one who got sick.
I hope the restaurant checks the freshness and food safety of their desserts and gluten-free items so that this doesn’t happen to other customers.
Service very slow, food came out cold, only for them to nuke it. No apology nothing. Same server we had before and he is terrible!

I came here for dinner on a Friday evening! We accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day, but they handled us with grace! The place was definitely busy, but we ate on the patio. I had the braised short ribs and all of it was delicious! The Brussels sprouts were my favorite part of my meal! I’d come back to try something different! It was pretty good! Everyone in my party seemed to enjoy their food as well. Our service was perfectly fine, and the atmosphere was as expected! 8/10
