I had to write a review about the chicken gumbo that was served during the week of Mardi Gras! It was by far the best thing I have ever had at Bytes and that's saying a lot because the food is always amazing...but this dish took me on a trip to New Orleans and the Low Country. Whoever made it...Thank you! Tens across the board!!!!

The food is really good but their software fails frequently (all the time) causing app orders to not get made on time. Then they show zero sense of urgency to get it made once you order in person.
Very frustrating experience.

Bytes Cafe always has an Amazing selection of entrees, sides, or freshly made sandwiches to order. The staff is very friendly, professional and welcoming. The Sweet Tea is the BEST!! And Wayne makes a killer lasagna!

Chavon and Antowne Mac and cheese is 10 10 10s. They have a great attitude when I visited the BBQ station. I enjoyed their time as they assisted me!! Cashiers are good I appreciate their service may can use some improvements at the registries. All together I enjoy the people and their work at Bytes

They typically do a Chef's table once a week Wednesday or Thursdays mostly. Highly recommend, a great way to experience a wide variety of cuisines with personality from the chefs.
Also hilarious the head chef pairs everything with Dr. Pepper.
It had been a while since my last visit to Bytes Cafe, so I decided to stop by. I was reminded of what makes it unique: a diverse menu prepared by Johnson & Wales culinary students. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, a welcome change from typical fast-casual experiences.
My usual favorites are the salad, burger, and pizza stations, but I appreciate the variety of other options available. The food is consistently good, and the student-prepared aspect adds an interesting layer. It's an excellent spot for a quick, satisfying meal, and the enthusiastic service makes it even better. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for something in this area.
The different stations will kind of lose you because there is no clear direction for how to order! You just have to pick a food station and order! Some stations you fill out a order from then turn it in to the person at the station, then they will make your food. Prices are cheap so it may be worth the confusion the first time you go

Stay away from the pizza it's disgusting. This place used to be great, post Covid it has been downgraded tremendously. Food quality is questionable, chefs(term used loosely) are rude and have zero customer service skills. The only time I can muster up the patience to deal with them, is when breakfast is being served because they seem to get that right. Everything else except subs need some real work. I can no longer justify spending my money for that subpar food. To be in the BofA building and cooking food that can rival public school meals is beyond me. 7-Eleven might be a better choice than this over priced cafe.
Dietary restrictions: Seems to be options for people with restrictions such as vegan options.
