I ordered 2 items: a dip that came with pita bread & salad. I was told it would take 25 minutes to cook this. I only live 9 minutes from the restaurant, I left immediately for the pickup b/c of 5:00 traffic. I was able to pick up my order and my mom's order as soon as I arrived; mind you...mom placed her order online after I left the house to pick up the food.

My pita bread slices were just below warm. So, I had to microwave the food. It just didn't taste like it was freshly cooked, which is an ongoing issue I have experienced with this place. (It's been months since trying this place again).

Moms food--beer battered fish tacos--did not look fresh as well. Again, the food had to be microwaved. Together, I'm sure we spent about 80.00. ...not worth it for luke-warm food. This was probably my 6th time going to this same restaurant over 4 years sporadically, and...so...these outcomes are a part of this company's character. I cannot eat here anymore.

I’m not usually a big fan of fish or tacos, but Cabo Fish Taco completely changed my mind. This place is honestly magical. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently excellent. The menu is simple, but there’s enough variety to keep things interesting, and I find myself wanting to come back again and again. It’s a perfect spot for lunch or a relaxed Saturday brunch. And yes — their fish tacos really are the best in Charlotte. Highly recommend!

The first time we went to a Cabo Fish Taco was in NoDa and we did not love it. This experience was MUCH better and everything was great. We had the white fish taco and tofu tempura taco and they were both awesome, along with all the sides and wait staff, who was also super friendly. Definitely would go back here.

Really good fish tacos which makes sense considering the name of the place, they live up to it.
We got the beer battered and the Tuna tacos, both fantastic.
The salsas were very good, didn't love the mango salsa, it was a little too much of a puree as opposed to chunky style.
They have a good draft beer selection and some THC seltzers also which was a nice surprise.
The only major critique especially being a taco place is that the tequila selection is deplorable.
Patron is the best they offer which is mid range at best, fine for a margarita, but nothing appropriate for a nice sipper.

The service was great. The food came out quickly and the patio was really nice to eat on.

However, the food was average at best. Flavor was weak and it could’ve been seasoned better. We tried the weekly special (poke tuna tacos) and we got two tiny tacos that tasted just ok for $17 which I didn’t think was worth the price at all.

We also tried the steak quesadilla, which was slightly better, but could’ve used more seasoning for sure, as the flavor was underwhelming.

Decent experience overall, but the food could’ve been better.

I drove out of the way to get here by 8, and they told me I could only order something if I was getting it to go. Posted hours are until 9 on Sunday. There is nothing online about this location closing early. What a waste. Beware that you may come here, and you won't be served.

We used Cabo Fish Taco for our wedding catering! Highly recommend for individuals wanting a buffet. Kyle was so helpful in placing our order & setting up our buffet on wedding day. He let us come in for a tasting to try our options, plus changed the salsas to the ones we liked as a wedding gift to us. The food arrived exactly on time for delivery & everyone loved our wedding food! We had salad, chips n salsa/guac, three taco options, beans n rice, & sautéed vegetables all for an extremely reasonable price. Highly recommend using them for catering for your next event!

Great island vibes when I walked in. Open atmosphere. Huge patio and plenty of seating inside. I was greeted by Savannah when I arrived. The hot crab and cabo shrimp dip is served up as a delicious hot appetizer! I'm sold! We will definitely be back for dinner!!
