We had the Chicken Bah Mi it was Delicious! Chicken was well cooked with great seasoning and sliced thin. Veggies SUPER fresh! Bread crunchy on outside soft on inside. Wish they had more non-pork options like fish or beef. They do not have tea which I was kinda shocked about (iced or hot). Quick Short Service(you will definitely be in and out pretty quickly) I'm glad we were driving past and I just wanted to drive thru the parking lot as I use to go in the Asian corner mall many many years ago. And I came across this gem which I had saved on my Yelp must try list!

Ive been going to this place forever. If you want traditional Banh Mi sandwiches this is the go to. Always consistent.

Service is always good! Fast and friendly. Love the decor- it's very unique. The banh mi sandwiches are soooo good. I love it everytime I get one. I also tried a mango smoothie for the first time and it was delicious!

Love the remodel. They brought over some of the old signage and did a fun job on the new location. Food options are great and pricing still is reasonable. The ambience feels like you're in a bakery in Saigon. We had a very pleasant time and look forward to have everything at this location

I finally made it here today for the first time, even though I've been to Asian Corner Mall before. Please note that this restaurant is *not* closed (as of 10/10/2022). You have to go inside the mall to get to it. There's another defunct restaurant on the outside of the mall that *looks* like it could be Le's Sandwiches, but it's not. It is, or was, Lan Bakery. Based on my first experience, I would rate Le's below Crispy Banh Mi, but above the other nearby banh mi places. Le's and Crispy Banh Mi both use a long and narrow baguette, which I assume is more traditional. Le's sandwich has a very subtle and complex flavor, more so than other versions I've had. I got the roast pork, but I'd like to try the other sandwiches, including the sardines if available. Le's is cash only, but there's an ATM inside the Family Dollar nearby. Also, the menu is limited to banh mi and coffee. I found that one sandwich was enough for lunch, without any side dish.

Closed. Hours on yelp said opened, but it was closed down. Looks like it's being torn down.

Amazing Bahn Mi, and it's been a hidden gem in Charlotte for a long time! I have been to other bahn mi spots, and all are similar but have their small differences that separate them. I had the chicken bahn Mi, and compared to most places it's more of a shredded version than larger pieces as other spots in the city do. From the fresh bread to the fresh ingredients, it's mostly the bread that wins it for me. Seems slimmer and more buttery than others I've tried. Worth every penny and minute traveled to try it. P.s. it is in a really run down Asian mall near noda, and it's not very flattering mall(smells like pee when your first walk in). The parking lot looks like it's seen better days.... BUT you are there for bahn mi!

Hole in the wall, mom/pop authentic! We got a Cha sandwich, ice coffee, and a taro smoothie. As good as we had it in CA - stuffed with meat, pate, and light crunchy baguette. Ice coffee was strong just like we like. They were busy with lots of locals making large orders but still fast with their service. Worth braving the pot holes in the parking lot!

Best Bahn Mi sandwiches we have ever had. We tried the combination sandwich, chicken and grilled pork sandwich - super delicious. Coconut Beach boba tea was tasty as well.

I'm so angry this place is in Charlotte instead of next door to me in Durham. The sandwiches are made exactly to my tastes, almost as though they read my mind: hollowed out crispy cigar shaped bread, TONS of pate, heavy on the pickled veggies, and none of their meat tastes like American deli ham. I haven't had a sandwich this good since I lived in Little Saigon in Orange County. If you ever want to open a Durham branch, Le's... I'll be there every week.

Best sandwich I've ever tasted! I could eat there every day. The food is super flavorful and fresh, and the service is good

Banh mi - the quintessential Vietnamese sandwich. Before there were banh mi spots at every corner of the city, before creative minds came up with new banh mi flavors and ingredients, before Americans became familiar with what a banh mi even is - there was Mr. Le's. He was the first. The original. You could go so far as to call him the OG. I used to come here with my parents after school or on weekend shopping trips and order several sandwiches to go. You can opt to have "veggies on the side" meaning the sandwich is made with meat and sauces but the bread isn't toasted and the pickled carrots & daikon and fresh veggies- cucumbers, cilantro and jalapeños- would be packed separately. This way, when you're ready to eat, just toast the bread slightly and add the fresh and pickled veggies for a perfect and freshly made sandwich. I went again recently and not much has changed except the prices. There was a time you could get 3 sandwiches for $5. Then it increased to 3 for $10. Now they're around $6 average each. Thanks inflation! Not to worry though - it's still hands down the BEST price compared to other joints and the BEST tasting sandwich all around. No funny business here - just real, authentic Viet flavors. It's still Mr. Le taking CASH ONLY orders and the beautiful Mrs. Le behind the counter making your sandwiches fresh to order. This is a family owned business and because of that, they put a lot of pride into each carefully crafted sandwich. You can pick what meats you want but the rest of the sandwich is the same - same light, airy, slightly toasted baguette with crispy, slightly acidic pickled daikon and carrots, topped with fresh cilantro, sliced cucumbers and thinly sliced jalapeños (eat at your own risk) Although the menu is simple, the taste is anything but that. Over 20 years in business, there's a reason why this place is still standing despite being located in a rundown strip mall with horrific parking lot filled with massive pot holes that you have to carefully maneuver around. It's the original. It's the best. Need I say more?

Amazing and always a go-to for Vietnamese sambos. Been going here for years and will continue to support.

The parking lot and mall where Le's is located is sketchy as hell. But they make the best bang mis I've ever had in my life. We moved to Raleigh a few years ago and I still think about this place

First time here, but I absolutely love it! I wish they don't close at 5 because I usually get off around that time. The price of banh mi is usually around 5, which is so cheap. I was so full from this one foot sandwich. Location of this cafe is in a plaza where there's so many other viet stores and restaurants. I think the plaza is old, which is why it looks sketchy. Definitely will stop by again for some delicious cheap banh mi.
