They charged me $4 for ice in my vodka tonic. I wish they had charged me for hand soap too, because it would have been nice to have some in the bathrooms. Cotton dry chicken; they would have done better to send a sous chef out to get a rotisserie chicken from Harris Teeter.

I visited this place after hearing positive reviews, but my experience was disappointing. I ordered steak and eggs medium, but they arrived medium-rare. The service was slow, and the orders were incorrect. We spent a lot of time clarifying our orders and requesting condiments. The atmosphere is nice, but it wasn’t enough to make me want to return.

Went here for beignets but they don’t compare to those in Louisiana. Had an omelette and overall it was just ok. Not worth the $35 I paid.

One of the few nice spots here in Charlotte. The food is really pretty good but not always consistent. Great place to sit outside on a nice day!

My pizza was good but the crab cake sandwich was terrible! The service, from the host to the server to the waitress, was horrible! After a 2 hour wait, we were seated with 1 set of utensils. We had to ask 3 different staff for them and finally got them 10 minutes after we received our food. Our waitress was perfecting her disappearing act while we were there. We finally found her on her phone by the front door as we were leaving. Don’t waste your time at this restaurant. There are plenty of better options in Charlotte!

been wanting to try this place for the longest and finally was able to. terribly disappointed. the food was mid and there wasn’t much flavor in my crepe. my bf got a benedict and that was fine. the moment we walked we were in line to be attended by the host. as the pair in front finished, we were waiting to get serviced, a mom and her daughter walked right in front of us. the host saw this happened and still attended them before us. their reservation wasn’t till almost an hour later. I said that was rude when the got right in front of us and they didn’t even care, and yes they were white. felt unwelcome the minute we walked in. sad that the host did nothing to stop them, asking them to step aside saying we were first would’ve been enough. terrible experience and not worth the drive :(

We have previously visited this restaurant for breakfast and have always enjoyed it. Today we stopped by for lunch and ordered a burger with a side of fries, and a duck and potato salad. The burger was dry and lacked flavor (I do not recommend); however, the fries were delicious. The duck potato salad was delicious and would recommend this dish. We enjoyed our time, and their latte was good.

I went to cafe monte yesterday to celebrate my birthday & had a reservation at noon. We did not get sat until 12:25 with 0 apology or care from the hostess & nobody even gave us water or acknowledged us until almost 1. The server seemed busy so we tried to be considerate yet my food came out wrong and when I told the runner he took the wrong sandwich back with an angry demeanor. The right sandwich came out which was a smoked salmon one which had cucumbers in it that was not on the menu. I picked those out but my sandwich was dry and the fries were fine but I was hungry so ate everything. My friends waffle was cold and not good. We left frustrated because we all work in food service and are patient but I just did not enjoy this experience overall and will probably never return.

I had breakfast and I ordered a cappuccino & egg Benedict on top of croissants on 1/30/25. They added an extra $2 tip on my credit card without any authorization on top of the tip I already paid for. Never coming back to this place!

I’m so sad to say, we had a horrible dining experience here. The food was terrible, the service on par with the food and we waited forever for seating. I don’t understand what happened. Everyone else seemed to be having a lovely experience, but not our table. A few weeks ago, the service was better. I’m extremely disappointed to the point that I would second-guess returning.

Authentic Parisian service, that is to say: poor. The food was lovely, but we had to repeatedly flag down attendants to ask for coffee, water, sugar/cream, and utensils when our food arrived.

The hostess was friendly, however they need to establish a better system with checking in customers. I know it can be congested but I was skipped by two couples, I decided not to say anything because they were older couples but it’s not fair.
