The food was extremely hot. My sister couldn't eat bc her palette is sensitive to hot food. I like hot food, but it was really hot. All of our dishes were. It seems they a kin there food to Louisiana style, however the food is spicy in Louisiana but not hot hot. One can find dishes that are great and mild.

Food was good. A little more seasoning or spice would have helped. I had Cajun pasta and my friend got The Shrimp Diane. Drinks were delicious. We set upstairs where the band/entertainment was performing, loved it. Waiter was a nice guy and was very attentive.

The fried shrimp were good. The service didn’t feel that inviting…it was weird.

I used to love going to this place. I live 45 minutes away so was always a special occasion if I went. I'm sorry to say that I will not be back. The service was horrific! We felt rushed and from the moment we walked in the door no one was attentive. The hostess didn't even take us to our seats. We had to flag people down for our menu. Needless to say it was not a great experience. Felt like everybody just wanted to get off of work. It's such a shame because it used to be such a wonderful place to go. Very disappointing.

The best Cajun restaurant I've visited outside Louisiana. The food was so good, they have live music, and the layout gives a fun but intimate setting.

The hosting team were phenomenal! Very professional and inviting. The bar area was nice and the bartender did an amazing job as well.
We've been going to the Cajun Queen for over 32 years! NEVER had a bad meal or experience. I especially recommend the fried oysters (I don't like oysters, but these are awesome) and the bbq shrimp appetizers, their special with the Mahi Mahi and either topping they offer are my go-to's. My husband loves the Bayou platter (it's a LOT of food). You will not be disappointed!
Always amazing! The only drawback are the drinks. The flavor combinations are amazing however they don't have great pours. I couldn't tell The difference between the regular and the mocktails.

Excellent food. My second time eating here. We came from Raleigh and the food and hospitality was amazing.
As always, over many years, consistently perfect! Delicious menu, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, all orders correct and a great value (especially when your leftovers equal 1-2 more meals!).
This was my first time but definitely not my last. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server Swede was attentive and as well friendly . Can't wait to return !
My first experience visiting the Cajun Queen was 4yrs ago and the food was amazing. On October 11th I visited Cajun Queen again and the food was even better than the last time. My mother was with me and she also enjoyed the food. The atmosphere, the food, customer service, the staff, the valet, the band....... was GREAT. Cajun Queen will always be my go to when I'm in Charolette.
We had a great time. The food was delicious, service was amazing and quick. The entire experience from our parking to leaving was awesome. It was our first time there and we'll definitely be back.
